  • if a muslim girl dates a guy with another-race or religion, it means big problems, same if their son turns gay. so who is not openminded?

  • Well I do have a problem with Denmark, in the fact that is the most racist / xenophobic country i even been. I am an architecture student - white / caucasian, European - and i studied there for one year. I never even felt so discriminated against in my whole life. Though i had to study to 2 years i couldn't stand the society and the people there, including my classmates. In addition to this, their hate against muslims also affected me, though i am not a muslim myself. Sorry for the testimony.

  • @endeavourthelimits So you blame the WHOLE country and everyone in there, because of your experience with some of the people?

  • @Hazel1312 Read the press, this is how the WHOLE Muslim world is discriminated against either ever since 9/11. And trust me it was not only at school, it was in the most unexpected places and from people i really didn't imagined.

  • @endeavourthelimits I see your point, but I still think it is a bit unfair to judge the whole country. Maybe you just met the wrong people.

  • @endeavourthelimits The notion that Muslims being persecuted after 9/11 is an absolute load of shit. The fact of the matter is Muslim influence both culturally, and politically has reached new heights. Even in America, where 9/11 happened, there has not been a significant increase in hate crimes towards Muslims.

  • @doksekko You may not live in Europe in countries such as Netherlands, Switzerland or Denmark. In here the public opinion is generally against muslims and even well known politicians make public statements that incites to hate. A couple of days ago Geert Wilders associated muslims to monkeys in a plenary speech. The 9/11 is the most important event in our recent history and I am shocked to see the blind eye of press, and general public of what is happening currently in our societies.

  • @endeavourthelimits That region has always been full of white supremacy, it's nothing new and Muslims aren't the only one not welcome in that region. Geert Wilders was an extremist. You using him as a an example of general feelings in the region is ironically enough the same mentality as somebody using 9/11 as an example to describe Muslims as a whole. Like I said, the statistics aren't there to support your argument.

  • @doksekko True, nobody cares to make statistics especially on this issue. But this doesn't mean that "white supremacy" attitude, which nicely brings back the colonial past of Netherlands and Denmark, does not exist even more than it used to be before 9/11.

  • @endeavourthelimits I don't know what to tell you. The region were, and have always been nazis. If you don't like nazis don't live there. It has nothing to do with 9/11.

  • @endeavourthelimits well i must agree on that danes in general have a lack of empasssion and arent very openminded towards other cultures. they try to make themselves appear as an openminded country, and they are in some areas like sexuality (it is rare you meet a homophobic dane) but towards other cultures not so much. ESPECIALLY if you are from a mideastern country and a muslim.

  • @endeavourthelimits they seem a bit too nationalistic, they want to asimilate immigrants but whenever they move to another country they seem to take pride in all their danish traditions. thats kind of hypocritical. of course not all danes are like that but certainly a majority is.

  • @gtyrsie2 I am sorry I can not affiliate myself in sympathizing danes as you do. You do prove that, in general, the western public opinion is always more sympathetic towards caucasian, rich nations, even if they are blood thirsty and corrupt, then it is towards poor, under-dictatorship muslim / black people countries, even when they are innocently killed. And to prove that read the reader's comments on any article about Libya conflict and those from Brevik's attack in Norway.

  • They're super. too bad they're from denmark.. :((

  • @endeavourthelimits What's the problem with them been Danish?

  • @whitedwarf13 maybe because they can't tour as much or something

  • Any one who likes Ice age should check out "de højehæle" and especially "Cola freaks" the real leaders of the danish punk scene and the guys who where the first to help out Ice age.

  • is this what the Disney Channel sounds like over there? I'm moving.

  • 100X better than The Horrors

  • @iamaspace like how the horrors were 100X better than the klaxons? i guarantee you will not be listening to this band in a year's time.

  • @rwm89 what, no, not like that, Klaxons are in no-way similar... The Horrors are pretty awful in my opinion anyway. You're probably right but Iceage still sound better than The Horrors!

  • @iamaspace cant really even compare them nowdays. Horrors are a completely different band than thier first album days.

  • They say Denmark is the happiest country on Earth, well how about the punkiest country on earth now!

  • I think this is overdone shit.

  • Amazing!

  • I'd like to go to Holland. Wooden shoe? haha

  • @beaglehowl denmark is not holland

  • This aint half bad :)

  • Just saw them at Amoeba SF.For this 47 year old man THEY WERE GREAT!!!

  • fuck yes

  • A friend played this tune for me in his car the other day, loved it instantly!

  • My babiez

  • they were great live front row is fucking crazy and meeting them was great!

  • hooooooooly fucking SHIT I LOVE IT

  • This sounds like Marilyn Manson without the fun.

  • I'm not even interested in music like this. But this has a good vibe. And Denmark is a really nice country.

  • This music is for punks... not pu55ies.

  • @cdronk They are often one and the same. Nice song.

  • This music is for punks... not pussies.

  • @cdronk ...and fascist scum.

  • @rwm89 If you actually look at the facts, they're quite clearly not facist. Stop stirring shit.

  • @MsConorf maybe i'm wrong then. but the guitarist does have a fascist symbol tattoo'd on his arm, that's usually a give-away.

  • @rwm89 He said himself that he wasn't aware of the connotations. Granted, that makes him stupid and naive, but not a facist.

  • Among the songs of year right here. Awesome punk song

  • Average age in Iceage is about 17 yrs old., these kids have ALOT of potential.

  • @pokabeb

    What

  • The hype surrounding this band is ridiculous, they sound like handicapped people moaning over a band that plays shitty punk covers.

  • @cgentile1

lol...I'm really trying to get into it but I can't. "Broken Bone" is okay though.

I just love how you worded your comment ;) I feel that way a lot sometimes. Especially bands with a lot of buzz. Just because a band sounds different doesn't mean it's a GOOD different.

  • @kmacmuzikmafia27

    This band isn't that different.

Reminds me alot of HEALTH actually, strangely.

Health has a more appealling sound to me though. I can't get into these guys.

Its a bit garage rock sounding. Ick. I don't like garage rock that much.

  • WTF is this crap is this a joke ??? don't quit the day job losers...

  • Comment removed

  • this is how i wish the new The Horrors would sound.
