  • ATTA BOY HARPER! Liberals suffer a stunning loss. ahahaha go home losers

  • His stance on Israel/Palestine is deplorable.

  • Only since Harper has been on the scene have we been exposed to such clearly visible lying and deceit.

  • Same old regurgitated crap every time. We hear the same old stuff every four years. Like an old record going around and around. And we will get the same results with ALL of them. Another FOUR year TAXPAYER BANDAID until the next shmuck gets voted in and does the exact same thing. They're all dissolving Canada to be the 51st state especially Harper and pushing us closer to A North American Union. I could go on for days. Pls Canada wake up.

  • NIXON? HARPER?

    I AM "not" A CROOK

  • I dont like these parties who are backed by huge amounts of money. Money that comes from making deals with lobbyists and corporations to make laws that make their profits better in the long run.

I would love to know exactly what the conservatives are dishing out cost wise to bus and fly Harper around to speak across Canada. How much did those heavily played attack ads that are almost always played. How much to place larger signs across Canada on just about every corner of every street.

  • I hate it how most Canadians are blind to his hypocrisy and fall prey to it as a result. If people actually took the time to think and remember Harper's political career, they'd realise how fucked we are as long as he's PM.

Vote ABC (Anything But Conservative). We all needa compromise and vote for the candidate who's most likely to defeat the tory candidate in all our ridings if we wanna get rid of Harper and his blue flock of conservative filth.

  • It horrifies me that Harper uses this lie. That he is counting on most Canadians not knowing enough about their own parliamentary system. HE & HIS MEDIA BACKERS WILL SCREAM "SOCIALIST COUP" AND GET AWAY WITH IT. Because we, the citizens, are asleep. Tell your neighbors. Tell your friends, a coalition of opposition parties in the House of Commons is A LEGITIMATE PARLIAMENTARY TRADITION. The UK has a coalition NOW. Tell 'em A COALITION WOULD REPRESENT THE MAJORITY OF CANADIAN VOTERS.

  • @mightymissk You are such an asshole.

The coalition in the UK was made up of the winner of the election and another party. The coalition in Canada would have been made up of the losers, just like you.

  • @justanoldman1 Your argument is dishonest--par for the course with you Tories eh? Lying. Using obfuscation. Using insults instead of arguments. What a small man you must be. In both the UK and Canada coalitions are a legitimate part of parliamentary democracy & if the decent people of Canada had had a coalition we would have won. That's why Harper was terrified that the Liberals & NDP would form a coalition. That's why he had to lie, suggesting that there was something illegal about coalitions.

  • @mightymissk If you knew anything about Canadian history, you would know that we have never had a coalition, it would be a sign of weakness in our system to form one now. We have always had the winning party form the government and I for one would like to see that remain. In any race, the first one across the finish line is the winner, not the second and third person joining together to say they won. The worst part of the coalition was a separatest party being part of it.

  • LMFAO...

    Love it

  • Mikefastener, how much is the CPC paying you to defend them on Youtube?

  • He flip flops like John Kerry

  • get over it, LOL

  • Mulrooney. 30 + billion dollar deficit. Killed the party in 1993 due to mismanagement

Martin. 16 Billion dollar surplus. Party lost to cons on promise of better money management.

Harper 50+ billion dollar deficit. Overturned due to criminal activities.

Here's to hoping that he'll be removed from the ticket to run as PM, due to the fact it's ILLEGAL for him to run while under guilty charges of the criminal act of contempt of parliament.

Lets not have him do a trillion in the hole.

  • Don't judge a book by it's cover my ass.

  • I guess you could say he is a HARPERCRITE!

  • "Duceppe holds up a copy of a 2004 letter he said Stephen Harper signed to replace Paul Martin's minority government with a Conservative-led coalition. (Paul Chiasson/CP) " cbc.ca/news/politics/canadavotes2011/story/2011/03/26/cv-writ-response.html

  • @Jpower24 I call that the "do as I say, not as I do" syndrome he's SO in love with.

  • If CBC has the video of Stephen Harper in 2005 saying its ok to form a government after the house has lost confidence in the current government why don't they play it over and over and over. Why doesn't anyone have a copy of the letter Duccepe has with Stephen Harpers signature so we can all move on and talk about more important things.

  • @sept62007 Ask and you shall receive, just watch the media and blogosphere today.

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • Mr.Harper is full crap.In 2004,he was quite prepared to enter into a coalition with the Bloc and the NDP...Now,it seems to be a horrible proposition. The only good the for Sweatervest Stevie is that it changes the channel from his party'e Contempt of Parliament charge, which is the reason why we are headed to an election..

  • ♥♥♥ We are working hard to get the word out to Canadians about our Crime Minister / Prime Spender Stealin' Harper. ♥♥♥ Google this discussion group of 5,800+ Canadians: (CRUSH) Canadians Rallying to Unseat Steve Harper ♥♥♥ Also we run a website called: unseatHarper dot ca ♥ We talk, share newstories and help each other understand the lies told to us by Harper and the MSM. ♥♥♥ Steve HarperCon: Government of One ♥♥♥

  • @007nadineL Rather than a discussion group of 5,800+ brainwashed lie-berals--I'll stick to the Canadians that show, poll after poll that they would prefer a hockey dad over a Russian Count.

(Hard to argue with that logic, right?)

  • @mikefastener Canada’s smorgy of useless polls

Never mind that polls are fleeting, snapshots of complex reality -- more so these days, according to professionals, partly because it's hard to get anyone to answer the phone -- they still have enormous subliminal impact.

Journalists feed on them, political partisans are exhilarated or depressed by them and they clearly influence what is talked about on Parliament Hill.

  • @007nadineL Your comment on polls is interesting.

Wondering why the lie-beral party spends so much on them.

    Just curious.

  • @mikefastener The CONS may not be good with numbers. They may not write workable legislation. They may not answer questions. They may not listen to anyone. They may not give us the information that we need. They may not ever tell us the truth. They may not 'get' education. They may not understand Foreign policy. They may not 'get' the Environment. They may not understand Canadians. But they sure are "Dumb on Crime"
  • @007nadineL As everyone seems to be saying now....."Better a hockey dad than a Russian Count!"

I'm not sure....what do you think?

  • @mikefastener a good repost from: Erik Snyder - Hey let's throw out Wayne Gretzky too, he's been away from Canada for too long to be Canadian anymore.

  • @007nadineL Ask your friend Erik to post the link where Wayne Gretzky is running for Prime Minister. I must have missed it!!!!

    "Smackdown!!!"

  • @mikefastener Why does that matter? Where a private citizen lives for much of his life, has no bearing on his patriotism.

  • @BoredomCorner where a private citizen lives for much of his life has everything to do with his knowledge of a country, its people and the events that have shaped its character.

    (Critical characteristics for a PM.)

    Agreed?

  • @007nadineL Everyone, please Google, "corruption", "lie-berals", "Judge Gomery finds lie-berals guilty", "lie-berals refuse to pay back stolen $40million to Canadians", "lie-berals say they are entitled"....to get a complete picture.

    Who could argue?

  • @mikefastener A good repost from: Kevin Allan, 9:18 AM on January 29, 2011

TOUGH ON CRIME is Mr Harper's GOLDEN EGG ... YET its a MYTH.

STUPID on CRIME will COST ...

Mr Harper wants to import the FAILED USA criminal justice system, not because it works, but because he may get his majority. Is this how we design criminal justice systems in Canada now (i.e. political pandering ) ?

  • @007nadineL I just don't want Iffy's American ideas put into Canada.

(Iffy is an American, you know....Mr. Harper is not.)

    Makes things very simple...doesn't it?

  • @mikefastener a good repost from : Elder Gonzo 5:21 PM on January 27, 2011

Why are the "Conservatives" always lamenting that Ignatieff is "American" when EVERY policy of Stephen Harper, from economy to military, crime to climate change, is MADE IN AMERICA!

  • @mikefastener WHAT success, with our economy? The only reason we survived the recession, is because Harper INHERITED BANKING REGULATIONS FROM THE LIBERALS. You might as well try to credit the weatherman for a sunrise.

Besides, Harper's the one who threatened to "teach (the opposition) a lesson" and Tory House Leader Baird is the one who said "They will pay for this" -- sounding more like a third-world dictator than a democratic politician.

Harper's screwed up royally, and should be thrown out.

  • @BoredomCorner So that's why CANADA re-elected him twice, the ladder with a majority. Sure the Liberal banking regulations helped enormously but Harper did do his job by putting money in the economy to keep it running. The Oil Sands also helped. Also your quotes are out of context bro.

  • If only Canadians were aware of this back in 2008. Why didn't the coalition bring this to light? Canadians need to be informed about how a parliamentary democracy works and how much of a liar the Conservatives are.

  • @lutesjay I don't know if they tried or not, but considering the heat they got for simply forming I suspect it wouldn't have worked.

  • I don't know if it's just me or not but the man looks like suffers from mild Down's Syndrome.

  • @Tyandpan It's not just you, my dad's wondered if he has Asperger's.

  • what a dick he is.

  • wow so much Harper hate, makes my heart swell with joy

  • hes no real leader. if he was hed push to revise and set straight all the corrupt confusing treaties made with natives under devious and coercive circumstances after the year 1867.

  • Harper is a disgusting, mealy mouthed hypocrite. He distorts the way government is supposed to work. He does it for his own ends. He's not a conservative he's a total right wing Reformer. The attack ads he has been running against Michael Ignatief are an attempt to get attention away from the lousy job he is doing as Prime Minister.

He has surrounded himself with Mike Harris' retreads. He's a loser surrounded by losers!!!

  • @graylab2 So glad that Mr. Harper has run those, "Fact ads" (as most people call them)!

Mr. Harper, we are all so proud of him!

  • @mikefastener sucker

  • @cjarcus Uhhhhhh.....and who is the Prime Minister today?

(I believe we know who the sucker is! As Stalin--and, now Iffy--called you guys, "the useful idiots".)

Oh well, enjoy your day--I know I will with Mr. Harper at the helm!

  • @mikefastener with evidence like this the only logical conclusion is that you are most definitely a sucker... sucker

  • @cjarcus What evidence are you talking about, my foolish friend? (Convicted guilty of corruption? -- as the lie-berals were?--certainly, an inconvenient truth for you!)

    Just asking.....

  • @mikefastener haha, i guess you didn't watch the video.. btw, whatever the liberals did doesn't excuse what Harper is doing... unless you have double standards, like Harper does, which would of course....make you a sucker :-) sucker

  • @cjarcus Sorry, my sad friend, but I (and most Canadians) don't understand. Lie-beral Prime Minister Paul Martin asks Judge Gomery to investigate lie-beral corruption. (Mr. Martin knew lie-beral corruption was so entrenched that even he could not solve it.) Judge Gomery concluded that the lie-berals are indeed a very corrupt party. I have not heard of any inquiry into Mr. Harper's behaviour or the Conservative Party. Do you agree? Is this an, inconvenient truth for you? Just wondering....

  • @mikefastener wow you seem to be avoiding talking about the hypocrisy of Harper in this video... Is there a reason why you are afraid to comment on it... You tend to use the liberals as an excuse for Harpers actions which basically admits guilt... man are you a sucker or what!!!

  • @cjarcus Actually, my friend--you are wrong! Canadians were promised during the election by the lie-beral leader Dion of no coalitions! (And, certainly not a Separatist-Socialist Coalition where Separatist Senators were a definite possibility!)

Luckily for Canadians we had Mr. Harper on our side and he ensured the voter's voice was heard loud and clear! We all owe him on this one!

    Any other questons?

  • @mikefastener lol, still a sucker eh... i love ur words 'separatist-socialist', lol are you an extremist or something?... wow what a sucker, one day you'll figure out that Harper was lying to you... sucker.. The only thing that Harper did was purposely misinterpret the law regarding coalitions and you are one of the suckers who haven't bothered to find out the truth.... SUCKER... ha aha haha lol

  • @mikefastener Aren't there already Bloc senators?

Oh and by the way, not only did most of the voters vote AGAINST the HarperCons (making the coalition a more accurate representation of the election), but Harper has worked with the NDP and Bloc on many occasions. This includes -- wait for it! -- his own coalition, when he was in opposition.

  • @BoredomCorner Actually (and my knowledge of the political scene will get you angry, be prepared) voters believed Dion when he said he would never form a coalition; therefore, the coalition was not a more accurate representation of the election.

If you are now saying, never believe a lie-beral...you won't get any arguments from me!

  • @mikefastener Many Canadians who bother to follow current events, understand the issue just fine. And by the way, most Canadian are also sick of attack ads -- you claim to be 54 years old, act like it.

  • @BoredomCorner Listen, little grasshopper, I am pleased to explain the world to you. (You need some guidance until you get out of your parent's basement, right?)

  • @mikefastener And just because the Liberals did it, how does that make it alright for the HarperCons to do it?

Even kids know that that bullshit doesn't work.

  • @BoredomCorner Interesting that the lie-beral throw mud at the Conservatives doing the same things as they did!

"Even kids know that that bullshit doesn't work"

I agree---makes you wonder why the lie-berals keep trying it, doesn't it?

  • @mikefastener You want a dictator with no grasp of finances running this country into the ground?

  • @BoredomCorner Hmmmmm.."a dictator with no grasp...". Mr Harper is in a minority gov't...he can be voted out any time, so, no one can honestly call him a dictator. Oh, by the way, you must not know that Mr. Harper is an Economist--I would certainly put him against Iffy or Taliban Jack in understanding finances.

Just wanted to clarify things for you.

  • @mikefastener You haven't noticed how Harper has shut down Parliament on a whim, to save his own hide, have you? Or that he cheated in at least one election?

  • @BoredomCorner Are you talking about that Chretien who shut down Parliament when the lie-beral corruption scandal was becoming known?

I agree with you....lie-berals are disgusting!

  • What a LIAR Harper is!!

  • The US got rid of their incompetent right wing nut job. Let's follow their lead and get rid of ours!

  • @rocktaculasticking We got rid of our incompetent government...the lie-beral party!

Thank goodness for Mr. Harper....we are all so proud of him!

  • @mikefastener If Harper is so competent, why is he creating a record deficit on things we don't need (like superjails in a time of low crime, fighter jets that don't work, etc.). Why were we refused a UN Sec. Council seat for the first time ever? Why does he refuse to hand over evidence of torture? Why did he cheer on (and possibly allow) the violation of our rights at G20?

  • @BoredomCorner Sorry, my foolish friend; however, we have the screaming jackals (Iffy and Taliban Jack) demanding higher deficits! (Shows what would happen if a Separatist-Socialist Coalition got in, right?)

We were refused a UN seat based on Mr. Harper's honest approach to world affairs--Cdn's are so pleased Canada finally stands for something! "Violation of our rights at G20?"....talk to Dalton McLier our lie-beral premier--lie-berals are all cut from the same cloth!

    Any other questions?

  • @mikefastener At least the coalition wanted spending on things that actually mattered -- Harper has spent the billions on jets that don't work, prisons we don't need, and summits that only last a couple of days.

  • @BoredomCorner Can you imagine Bloc Senators? Finance Minister Bob Rae anyone?

Thank goodness Mr. Harper stood up to these jackals (Dion, Iffy, Layton and that Separatist guy).

We are all in Mr. Harper's debt.

    Agreed?

  • Man, Stephen Harper is such the hypocrite. He clearly defines the fine, corporate tool he is.

  • @MGman800 And you're a hypocrite yourself for ridiculing someone else for being a hypocrite when you yourself haven't taken the consideration that you are a hypocrite yourself. EVERYONE is a hypocrite. Get over it. You probably have a nice life right now, and all you have to bitch about is how much taxes you have to pay, when in Canada we have one of the top ten lowest tax rates in the world!

  • There is no such thing as honest politics in a monetary system.

  • so back in 2005, the wonderful Tories had more right to overthrown a legitimate and democratically elected government? How about the fact that the conservative party wanted to abolish ANY competition they have so that they could destroy the liberal party? Is that what you call democracy? You probably deserve to live in Cuba or China....or Alberta?

  • When the 'Premier sinister'

of a country needs to make a call to hatred against a nation (Québec a nation within Canada his own words) This nation who also contributed to build up this country.

In Order to redo his majority times are bleak for this country ...

    Joyeux Noël O Canada

  • Typical conservative hypocrite.

  • WE MUST SPREAD THIS VIDEO !!@!!!

  • Harper's not a hypocrite!

The video from 2005 was filmed on 4/20! He was probably really high, so I find it understandable that years later he's forgotten his own opinion...lol.

In all seriousness, he's a tool.

  • This guy is a pig.

  • How quick people forget about this weasel's double talk

  • Stephie creates reality to suit his ego. I think most Canadians have long figured out that we have no leaders, just manipulators. Harper is a weasal in a herd of losers.

  • This is sad, but true. And then people wonder why the voter turnout is so low...

Thank goodness there are a few MPs in my party of choice that I can be proud of. Wish there were more like them.

  • Canadians are scared of the coalition so will likely vote Harper if non-confidence results from the Jan. 27 budget. Harper caused the mess and he could be rewarded with a majority.

  • Harper is a bullshit artist.

  • Canadians are scared of the coalition so will likely vote Harper if non-confidence results from the Jan. 27 budget. Harper caused the mess and he could be rewarded with a majority.

  • We cannot rely on the media to run this. I have posted it on every blog I frequent, and forwarded it to a few political TV shows, and ask that everyone do the same.

  • This is obviously fake, conservatives never lie.

  • Were you able to type that with a straight face? I know I couldn't.

  • Oops, that post was supposed to be a reply to someone else.

  • This would be a great clip to use in a TV ad supporting the Coalition government.

Canadians need to wake up and realize who is really power hungry. These Bushites must be removed from office.

They have destroyed an $18 billion surplus, and now some analysts claim that future deficits could be between $20-47 billion. We need accountable and responsible government. Not a government who will divide the nation and use any means possible to protect their party.

    Harper has disgraced Canada.

  • What always amazes me is that right-wingers think they can get away with saying one thing, then two years later saying the exact opposite, and no one will call them on it. Facts matter!

  • here, here

  • you got that right, hypocrite
