I'd have to say that Nighthawks is one of my all time favorite paintings. This is an excellent recreation that accurately captures the mood of the painting. Great work!
This 1942 work epitomizes Hopper as a painter of loneliness and existential solitude. In Hopper's words from "a restaurant on New York's Greenwich Avenue where two streets meet." Though the building that inspired him no longer exists, the evocative, transcendental diner that he depicted endures.
"Nighthawks" was the first painting I'd ever seen. My father had it hanging on his wall when I was a wee tot, and it has always been my favorite. My first impression? They were there for burgers!
This is pretty damn awesome, not gonna lie. i would love to know the music that was used as well.

Wow! This is outstanding! You've recreated the painting in awesome detail. And I believe you caught the feel of the painting perfectly.
Madi, who plays the woman, is a very dear friend of mine. I know that she worked very hard on her avatar for this production. I'm very proud of her!
