  • You people need to watch The Cove. Uncover the truth about Dolphin trade and shows

  • This looks like a lot of fun to me. The Dolphin show was always quiet. Somehow my cousins and I were almost always the only ones there. I would like to see this. It looks like fun. Plus if I got to pet a penguin it's a double bonus for me.

  • I have been there!!!!

  • I been there it was so cool.! <3

  • Ahhh! Im going here next week! Im sooo gonna get these ticketsss:D

  • @WebkinzLauren4150 u went that is soo cool i went 2!!! wat was ur fav part

  • lol i was there and the penguin peed xD

  • if you like looking at people who dress up as animals then this is the show for you. I am not a sick furry pervert and so this show was the most disgusting thing I ever saw.

Hawks are awesome though - the hawk did nothing because hawks know that furries must die.

  • The.

    Eagle.

    Never.

    Flew.

  • I loved the show but I HATED how one supposedly lucky girl got picked.

  • @Katie14342 it was an actor it wasnt some lucky girl

  • very disappointing show. I used to love to go to the dolphin show and learny information about the animals and conservation and how to protect them. I am not sure what the new show is supposed to acccomplish. very disappointing.

The costumes and show are egregious.

it should only be about beluga whales. not some rich city girl who "magicly" gets picked to ride a boat that almost hit my pretty head.

  • @MegaRosie101 I think they are just trying to inspire people about how wonderful the sea is or something.

  • @MegaRosie101 Agreed. My daughter wanted to be a trainer their ever since she was 2. When we saw this show, after it was over she went in the bathroom and cried. She was so devestated, still is as a matter of fact. She loved how they played "Walkin on Sunshine", she loved learning, the educational theme, and how you could see out on the lake of the old show. She loved it with all her heart. It's such a shame.

  • Wait, does this mean you can no longer see out to the lake? I always thought that was so cool.

  • @JackLovesTheDoctor No during the show a huge screen comes down after and before you can see the lake

  • I saw the show today. Very disappointing. Before you go Google fantasea shedd and find some of the reviews and reader comments. This is just a really bad show. Don't let that stop you from visiting the Shedd or going to the Oceanarium just don't waste 30 minutes on that awful show.

  • I thought this show was completely ridiculous. I wouldn't waste your time or money. The aquarium is good, but this show is absolutely pointless.

I was more distracted by people running around in leotards, top hats, and umbrellas than what was actually going on with the animals.

  • no offense and all but its kinda corny. its great for little kids but...me and my boyfriend just thought it was corny and it would be better if it was just a normal kind of show telling you about the animals and what not.

  • I'll be going in the summer of 2010. I can't wait.

  • Just saw today. This show alone is worth the price of admission!

  • the dolphins in this exhibit were taken from the wild to entertain you, think about that. You think the trainers love the animals? Why would they capture them and take them away from their families and force them to live a tank that is far to small, away from any animal it can interact with if they loved them? And they say the animals love them back...how could they possibly love the people who are torturing them?

  • they are not treated bad, they were probalby taken when they were very young so they dont know what its really like, maybe there parents were killed by poachers or something like that? then what will they do? the shedd teaches people about them, one animal compared to all of the animals geting killed casue people dont really understand them, the caretakers really do love them, how do you know that they dont? do u work there? no, so dont make judgments till you know everything.

  • I'm friends with a2mstarz and I was with them when they wrote this, sorry I know I'm commenting on a 2month old comment, I'd just like to set somethings straight. While the shedd is one of the best aquariums out there, it teamed up with an aquarium called the Miami Seaquarium and captured all except one of its dolphins from califonia. 2 in 1988 and 2 in 1993.

  • yeh that was then, but now parks like Seaworld haven't captured and Dolphin including Orcas in over 20 years so you cant say that about Seaworld seeing as so they havent captured any.

And ive seen the Orcas/Dolphins and trainers up close and they love the Orcas/Dolphins as much as you or anyone loves there pets.

  • Again, I'm sorry for responding to a 2month old comment, I am friends with a2mstarz and was with them when they wrote that comment. Actually, the shedd captured dolphins with the Miami Seaquarium in califonia in 1993 and belugas in 1992. Marineland ( a park like seaworld in ontario) has many belugas who were captured in 2008.I'm sure the trainers love the animals, but don't forget trainers in taiji pick out the wild dolphins personally. It seems to me, that they like the bond with the animals...

  • more then the animal's wellfare-but I would not know that part of it.

  • @a2mStarz very true. My son just did a project on theis exact topic. He is 7. He told his whole class, not to attend these shows, and why.....it all starts with educating....

  • I can't wait to see it!

  • looks ausome il b their todaY WE JUST GOT INTO CHICAGO
