It is as if they ain't even there, but when you fly up they obviously do stop you from falling out of your seat. Trust me they are safe, Six Flags would NEVER design a ride that was not safe. It has been open since April 7th 2001 and has never had anyone fly out.

My 7 year old brother went on it and loves it. Trust me, it is a great ride and if you miss it cause you think it is unsafe then you missed one of the best rides. =/

Second row would be the best place to go for your first ride.

You don't do upside down at all so they are perfectly safe you aren't going anywhere trust me ive been on it multiple times..You don't move your perfectly safe

nitro was dissappointing..i thought the drop was gonna b rlly scary, it wasnt at all. the ride was nothingg. el toro is scarier cuz u fly outta ur seat(:

You fly out of your seat on Nitro too, before the double helix. You need to make sure the attendant doesn't shove the restraint all the way down. Either way this does have you go out of your seat. <_<

It wasn't crowded at all. Nitro was closed today as was Ka. Both rides will be open tomorrow however. They were closed due to wind. Toro had a 30 minute. Other than that,mostly walkons.

Park opens 10:30am during summer most days. Check SixFlags website to be sure.

Here is what I'd recommend though more than anything else:

1) Go for two days, especially if you are planning on visiting the water park too, as it takes up half the day; or with a family or big group, which moves slower.

2) Get there early. A half-hour before the park opens. This will give you time to park & walk to the front gate.

3) Buy your first day's ticket on-line, so you don't have to wait in line for tickets.

Ride Superman and KingdaKa early; their lines move slow.

I've ridden 100 roller coasters across the country, and this is in the top 5. A way underrated ride. Fast, smooth, thrilling, and the g-forces to negative g's are so strong you almost black out.

I like Kingda Ka, Scream Machine, El Toro, Medusa, Superman, Chiller, Batman, but this is the best in the park.
