Yea guys the older I get (36)...I truly miss good real music like Gap Band, Prince, Sade, to even Jimmy Cliff, Sly & Robbe, The Clash, early Aerosmith, Thin Lizzy, and Bad Brains. Soul, Funk, Punk, New Wave, Reggae, and Hard Rock was always my faves!!!!

This was one of the mainstay R&B songs of the 80's, and I LOVE 80's music. The Gap Band had some hits back in the day, and I remember when this song, along with "Early in the Morning", and "Party Train" were both played on the radio and their videos were played on TV.

The 80's were a great time to be alive. This group "brought the funk" before that phrase was cool. LONG LIVE THE 80's!!!!!

Dude this waz like 1995-1996 or so... I remember video tapping this one and all the others to follow... LOL I was only 7 or 8 years old then. This was Sinbads 2nd 70's soul festival on HBO I think there was 5 of them cuz the last 1 was PPV. Great show though....Hard lesson learned don't let anyone borrow your classic video tapes.....
