Comparing ISO's is kind of subjective. You wouldn't use an ISO of 100 on the same shots as you would at 6400. Like sssdeecee said, if you want that noise not to be there, your going to have to change the rest of your settings. Your camera is fine as far as I can tell. Might not be a bad idea to study up on how DSLR's work! Good day!
It doesn't appear that you correctly controlled your lighting at ISO 3200 and 6400. In that sense, the noise is exaggerated and there will be a significant reduction in contrast.
All current production DSLRs (even the Canon D50) in this price range perform similarly at ISO 3200, 6400. The one weak area for the Pentax K20D, is in long exposures (at any ISO). However, in your examples, the K20D can do much better at those high ISOs.
Repeat your experiment with same EV on every shot.
