@mad6986 In a sense, he did retire. He doesn't do matches anymore (to my knowledge anyway). Most wrestlers don't actually RETIRE anyway. They usually work with the company behind the scenes/storylines or they MAY do a public match (Sgt. Slaughter as an example), but they don't wrestle full time like the others do, and when they DO wrestle, it's usually to push one of the younger guys.
