hey i have a questain i want to change my motherbord but i have a lot of files in my harddrive i dont want to get rid off can i creat a image without the xp opparating sistem i have on it and install a fresh copy to the new harddrive + new motherbord and thn restor the files ??????????????

Yes you can. I dont really understand why you want to get rid of you Operating system. But even so if you are wanting to know if Acronis Trueimage Echo can back up files and folders seperately then the answer is YES. Look on my video above at 0:35. On the option where is says My Computer or My data select MY DATA instead and it will give you options which files and folders you want to backup.
