Hudson Place Towers, Madison Square Garden Towers, and 15 Penn Plaza would really make Midtown Manhattan's skyline more than a skyline. But what would stink is if they have to Demolish the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, GE Building, and any other building that was made in New York in the 1930's, 40's, and 50's.

Less than 10% of its residential units are occupied and that's after major price reductions, that is pathetic. Here in NY, and the US skyscrapers are built only when they make economic sense. When a commercial building has a tenant lined up to lease the building when done, or if the demand for housing is high, if either of those basic ideas had been applied to the BJ, it wouldn't have beenbuilt

As the centerpiece of the city, it is really a mixed-use building. Over a period of time, as the city becomes more and more established, the Tower will fill up.
