these arent the real songs off of the album. all of the songs he posted were leaked and thats why it has the watermark on it AND thats not even the album cover..FAIL

I have released this before the album was released. It wasn't leaked. It is actually an advance promotional string (as it says in the song).

broski, these are all the songs that were in the leaked file..and that "advanced promotional stream" is a watermark. that means vagrant records put it there BEFORE making it official and putting it out on the album. do your homework buddy

im not complaining about anything. im just saying, why you would post the leaked album version and not the actual one. remember this guy name "Begga4rs" about 5 months ago? that was me :p and i posted all of the songs JUST LIKE THIS 3 months before release and almost got my ass sued for doing so. take these down, and put the real ones on here, because the real ones sounds 40958930485 times better anyway and they dont have the watermark on them.

Thrice is basically the American Radiohead. Vheissu is their OK Computer. The Alchemy Index is their Kid A and Amnesiac.

Wow Daishan and BBright... how about you both relax? You completely missed what I was saying. I'm a huge fan of Thrice and I understand that the cover art has a point. I was simply stating that the album art is not aesthetically pleasing at all. Please don't jump to conclusions. Go ahead and argue that it's a great album or band and you are right. However if you argue that this album cover has a lot of aesthetic merit you'd be hard-pressed to back that argument.

i used to dig thrice because their music was fast and energetic. Then when they came out with vheissu, i liked it even more because it was deep, energetic and very creative. the alchemy index blew my mind. This is no different then their other albums to me, in the sense that it just blew me away. these guys are talented, versatile musicians. cheers to them for making music that i've been listening to for the past 7 years or so.

I'll have to agree with most of you that Thrice has definitely grown as artists. And though I love and was inspired by "Artist in the Ambulance". I think of this as their greatest work to date.

I was pissed 'cause none of my local stores had this album. I went to at least 5 stores and nothing. I don't want to get it from itunes 'cause I like having physical copies of albums from my favorite bands. Oh well, I guess when I get Brand New's new album later this week I'll look for Thrice's again.

I like to think that instead of thrice merely creating music to the way they feel, I beleive that they use their art as a tool for war. (as picasso put it) Their style and lyrics have changed, but the passion hasn't and the feeling you get when listening to them will never change.

I think they create music, for the same reason they always have. But those reasons belong to them.

I find it astonishing that people still bitch about Thrice not being the same band that they were in 2004. They've released 6 albums since then (counting each Alchemy Index individually). They haven't played anything like "Artist" in almost 6 years. If you're still holding on to that sound, you should probably not consider yourself a fan of the band, but a fan of their first couple albums.  I give these guys so much praise for doing what they want. Beggars is a great album.

They're not getting worse. They've progressed so much from where they were. I have much respect for this band. They play various genres. Not only that, they don't cater to the masses. They write, compose, play, what they feel at that moment. How can you call that "getting worse"? True musicians, never compromise. Thrice is rare breed. :)

It's not "getting worse." It has everything to do with what they feel. An artist, true artist may I remind you, writes what they feel expresses who they are at that moment. Though most open minded individuals wouldn't stay confined to the same ol' same ol' aye. By the way, Mr. Lumpy, they are still aggressive. :)

Couldn't agree more. The Alchemy Index in a whole, was just absolutely amazing. They remind of The Pixies, by that I mean they have the ability to cross genres in an album and still keep their identity.
