  • lol actually Elrond used Hadhafang (sword) during the battle at Mt. Doom, not this sword lol

  • @CKNYoung I never said Elrond did use it at Mt. Doom

  • I like the sting one the best

  • all that hilt solid steel... how much does it weigh? 4kilo+?

  • I wanna chop sumthing with that sword ;o

  • but will it blend?

  • Beautiful, beautiful sword.

  • Please send me a link where I can buy this sword. I do want to know if I can pay there as a Duthman from Holland of course and if I need to pay any import taxes.

I really want have this one. Got the pre anduril from the fellowship, a cheap sting version and arwens blade from the chase from the nazgul.

  • OMG please tell me were you got that sword please, please, please, im a really big lotr fan and i would really like to add that to my collection so please, please, please, please, please tell me........................

    i live in ireland

    please3 tell me

  • @archlord8 imported it to the UK through ebay in america. If you search on the american ebay site for 'united cutlery LOTR' you might get lucky and find one for sale.

  • @phantomphreaq Hey, im from Canada and my friends buy lots online and have told me if i buy weaponry or swords that there is a chance the will hold the products back at the border. Is that true?

  • @CamoSniper87 I couldn't say for Canada. I have no idea what you're weapon laws or customs are like. You'll have to google it and find out.

As far as the UK goes, they are allowed, and we are allowed to import them, but they are checked and held by Customs officials untill an import tax is paid. Once paid they're free to be delivered.

  • where did u bought from ?

  • Lle ume quel-you did well

  • where do you guys buy all that stuff? i also wanna buy a collection of lotr weopons 'cause i'm a great fan!

  • @MrNickyL google CB Swords

  • omg this elf looks allmoust as an ork haha :D

  • the blade dosnt look long enough to me

  • Im looking to buy the same sword. Where did you buy this one. Ive read some reviews that its not that authentic but i really want one.

  • @ScreemzHD It's made from the same moulds as the film props, therefore it's identical in looks to the ones used in the film. The reason people are saying it's not authentic is tha the long hilt is cast in metal, and painted, rather than wrapped in leather like it is in the film. This makes it heavier to handle. Never-the-less they still look exactly the same.

Remember that these are made for decoration, and to be displayed on a wall, not to be handled and flung about. It's awesome. Buy it.

  • @phantomphreaq Were'd you buy it from

  • is amazon safe to order from ? please reply

  • @megabeyblader100 I've no idea as I've never bought anything from Amazon.

It's a pretty high profile site, so I assume they must be safe or they'd go out of business pretty quick as no one would want to use them. Why, have you found one of these swords on there?

  • @phantomphreaq yup but they would not ship it to england so i have a relative who lives in texas so yeah i am getting one and thankyou for the advice :)

  • OMG!! I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS SWORD

YOU'RE SO LUCKY TO HAVE IT

I WISH I COULD HAVE IT.

  • WELL...

JUDGING BY THE CURVE AND DA ...POSIBLE WAY TO GRAB IT CARRY IT

THATS A WEAPOND THATS HARD TO USE

  • @AMENAZAwarriorbear Which is why I guess the Elves had their own graceful, fluid fighting style to use these blades.

  • @AMENAZAwarriorbear It is meant to be used two-handed, with a hand on each end of the hilt (which is half of the entire length). Instead of the stabbing and slashing motion used by most blades, this should be used in a whirling motion, to sythe into enemys with a quick attack.

If one were so inclined to use this beautiful weapon in an actual fight...

  • @x82ndODSTx

    yeah i think

how ever i'm more old school

just give me a middle size battle axe and a sharp edge shield

i cant take a single arm armor and a... what was the name of the weapon of the nazgul king ?

  • @AMENAZAwarriorbear A mace? Or a flail... I always get those two confused.

  • ISILDUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUR

  • I'm going to guess its not full tang?

  • NOTICE This video contains an audio track that has not been authorized by WMG. The audio has been disabled. crap

  • @James22255 It IS crap, the music was Anduril, and went so well with this video.

  • nice sword, but it's not like the one in the movies

  • @paddotk It's made from the props and moulds from the films, so it's exact to the film swords.

  • @phantomphreaq hm well the ones ive seen are different... anyway nvm

  • @phantomphreaq except the film swords wern't stainless its to brittle even for a prop

  • @paddotk ur prolly thinking of the short handle sword used by the girl elf

  • i was about 2 get one 2 day then i found out it costed 275 bucks when i only had 100

  • @lilflex94 yeah these are rare and hard to get. Despite the fact that UC started making them again when they went back into business, they only did it for a short run to keep the exclusivity.

If you can get the remaining money together to buy it, it's worth it. It's value will only go up, especially when the Hobbit film is released.

  • im getting this for my birthday :D

  • i really want that sword

  • is the palm leather or metal? nice video!

  • i love it

  • cool sword

  • whoever uses this sword will have their fingers cut off because there is no crossguard

  • Coolest weapon from LotR, handsdown

+5 points or swords with long hilts/Polearm Swords!

  • im glad i randomly typed in: elven sword :)

  • this may sound stupid but would it be illegal to sharpen the sword? if you live in England you would understand how safety cautious our government is...

  • @RATMfanforlife

Yes it would be stupid, that's why I would

never attempt it, plus it would severely

    damage the blade.

  • @phantomphreaq cool cheers pal

  • @RATMfanforlife ya dont sharpen it anyway it messes up the blade and it look like crap

  • @RATMfanforlife i live in england and its probably not illegal , because ive some people from england that made reviews of swords and stuff which are sharp, so i would say go sharpen it if you have one :)

  • @LegoCamelsAttack cheers buddy

  • i have wanted that sword for years but am only 15 so cannot buy. by the time i am old enough it will be reeeeeeeeeeealy hard 2 find :(

btw is it full or rt tang??????

  • I received mine today, could you tell me if you can clearly a line on the handle that separates the two pieces of metal used to form the handle ? I am just wondering if I got a fake UC Thanks

  • Yeah, there is a clear line, its the only thing that i found disappointing with it. But is I say, its a wall hanger, So once its up you cant see it.

If it came fully boxed, with a certificate, then you have a UC original.

Don't be too disappointed with it, what you have there is a an awesome weapon, and a very rare one at that ;o)

  • @phantomphreaq i have one question.

    is the blade sharp?

i am thinking of buying one so i would like to know ;)

  • u could sharpen a blade if ure a good smith with a whetstone

  • Well, yes. Im sure you could.

But seeing as im neither a swordsmith, or own a whetsone, I don't think ill chance it :o)

I'm sure someone out there has done it though.

  • do you have to look out for it so it doesent rust or something?

  • does it cut well?

  • It doesnt cut at all. Its a replica, a collectible wall hanger. Its not made to actually cut anything :o)

  • did you try cuting something? :((((((((

  • Lol no. 1. Apart from the tip of the blade, its not at all sharp. UC replica blades have a distinct edge, but its dulled down a few millimeters to make it a non-sharp edge.

    2. This is a very rare LOTR replica. There were only a couple of thousand made before UC went bust. I wouldnt risk damaging or marking it to try and cut something :o)

If you go on my page there's a video on there of my full UC LOTR collection (so far) but im always looking to add to it ;o)

  • not to mention its stainless steel, carbon or spring steel bends and can be hammered back into shape, stainless steel doesnt

  • the blade should be bigger

  • i wanna get aragorn's elven knife SO bad. aragorn isnt my favorite character but his elven knife is my FAVORITE weapon in the movie. my fav character is either elrond or eomer

  • @mastercrowly mine's gandalf, I wish I could get his staff.. not the one he had when he was Gandalf the White but the one he used against the Balrog, Bad ass!

  • @mastercrowly it has vids of it on youtube

  • he won't employ you as you are outside N.Z. N.Z has REALY tight immigration laws and it is too complicated to worry about work visas to employ any one internationally. thanks for the vid dude noce close ups of the detail.

  • Hey, I just met Richard Taylor today of 'Weta Workshops' who designed the actual sword props for the trilogy and he told me that these swords by United Cutlery/Noble Collection are extremely accurate as they were modeled directly from the actual ones which they sent over.

  • You actually MET Richard Taylor?!

God, im sooooo jealous! lol First thing i would ask him is does he have any jobs going in the art department lol

  • @phantomphreaq are these swords very sturdy?? and the leaves on the handle are metal?? or are they just painted onto the leather?

  • Yeah, these swords a VERY sturdy. The whole handle is metal, simulated and pitted to look like leather, which is a shame in a way as if it were leather it would have more of an authentic 'feel'.

Still, these ARE replica's and not real. The metal handle in no way detracts from the look as its very realistic

  • @stayupthere hey do you know if these are full tang??

  • All of the replica swords are rat-tail tang the only full tang "battle-ready" swords are the Museum Collection Sting and Glamdring swords...but even if i had those i wouldnt fight with them anyways so the regular versions are fine for me :)

  • r they usable??

  • how much cost the elvebn warrior sword?

  • you are a lucky bastard because you live in uk or usa come to greece i have collect the swords of aragorn and the bows and the knives of legolas but i cant find the others swords .you are very lucky

  • I may be lucky, but you have Legolas's Bow.

Thats an extreamly rare item to have. I have been searching for a good few years for one myself. Have you tried eBay for your swords? American eBay is best, and most will ship them to you in greece.

  • Aye it's a good looking sword, but only a wallhanger. It's be great to make a real one. I'd want to see how it handles before going to the effort of making one though. I like the brass vinework on the grip.

  • wow man you must be rolling in the pussy with that sword

  • I'm getting this sword. Where did you get yours? I'm gonna get mine from Tolkeintown.

  • sharp*

  • how much was it? and can it cut through things...perhaps a better question is, is it shard?

  • i love this sword but i also love Hadhafang can anyone help me decide and which sword i should go for

  • If you can get hold of this sword, id definatley recommend it. Its stunning.

I also have Hadhafang (have you seen my other vids?) and thats a stunning sword aswell. Definately a favourite of my collection

  • OK i have gone for hadhafang. I'm ordering it soon. Also if u want to know somewhere in the UK that sells the lord of the rings swords i cant tell u the website adress unless of course u alreayd know it.

  • can that be used to hack and slash shit?

  • very nice.. last year i bought anduril :D

  • nice sword

    watch my vidéo

    good fighter 1 2 3 4

  • I studied Jap swordsmanship for years and recently started the western styles. SO, I like my stuff functional like the 'elven' hunting knife i had made. But 4000 is impressive to be sure!!! He has pretty stuff but that price for the elven glaive!!!

  • (whistles) Thats ALOT of money.

The Elven Glaive is fantastic looking, Has a very organic looking handle and scabbard. However the Raven's Claw is the one that caught my eye. Now THAT'S a astonishing looking weapon lol

  • it is in dollars i promise you that. I am having a ranger sword made by Ollinsword after the first of the year but Rick is very fond of his stuff and rightly so it is art but MAN.......lol

  • My collection pushes near the $4000 mark.

I've just been on his site and yeah, some of that stuff is amazing. Some beautiful pieces in the Contempory Blades sectione. Though the japanese blades aren't really to my taste :o)

  • In that case you can't get any better or closer to the movie swords than a UC blade. And as much as I like my custom swords 3000 for a 'battle ready one' is a bit above my reach!!!

  • Yeah and mine. If thats in dollars, thats nearly as much as my entire UC collection!! lol

  • most UC swords aren't full tang or battle swords but wall hangers. If you want to spend the MONEY for a real version of it look at Rick Barrett swords.....but he charges for his masterwork!!!!

  • I was never looking for a full tang or battle swords. If i'd have wanted something like that i would have bought it. I have never had intention of using these for anything other than disply. So 'wall hangers' as you put it works perfectly well for me.

  • Thanks for the info though. I'll check his stuff out.

  • great sword!!!

  • is this sword of full tang construction?

  • Beautiful sword...though in Tolkien's vision the swords would most probably have been straight, like the European knights' swords.BTW how much did it cost?

  • Yes you're right. Tolkiens vision would have the swords straight, something like Glamdring, which was from an even earlier Age.

However, I love John Howe's (or was it Alan Lee?) design for this. Perfectly in fit for the flowing Elven architecture from a culture built on Nature.

This was from eBay and had to import it from the U.S. to the U.K. and cost approx £150 ($300) including the import charge at customs. Well worth it though :o)

  • it's a beautiful blade. I also have it in my collection and also hadhafang "Arwen's sword" and Legolas knives

  • It IS an awesome blade. I don't know if you've been on my profile and watched my other sword vid. Shows my whole collection at the moment. I love Hadhafang, its definatley one of my favourites in my collection, along with Glamdring and Theoden's sword 'Herugrim'

  • cool

  • i would love to have that blade

  • Wow I wish I had that sword. Thank you for making this video. Its good to know how big it is comapared to a person.

  • I love this sword I love the High Elves. I love the Second Age High Elven Warrior Armor. DAMN I AM MAKING A SWORD LIKE THEIRS!!!

  • hey how can i order products from UC? and im not dumb!

  • Dude, just go to their web-site, silly.

  • Or you can type what you want along with "united Cutlery" into google.

  • THNX for posting this video man !!!! i realy love it n thanks alot!
