Wow! What a splash of "on your face" truth, so refreshing! In many occasions you are polite because you're trained to be so, but you really feel bad simply because it's not coming from the heart! Simply put, it's not you're natural response, or attitude or behavior to the situation, therefore you are really betraying yourself, causing you to feel bad. It's so logical! Thank you Abraham.
This is so true! I was jumping through hoops to even remember to say "hello" to others in the morning and I always thought it was pointless to get into the "how was your weekend?" questions when I would tell them the details and all that happened and how it felt, they'd get irritated. They asked! It took me a while to realise they were just regurgitating what they were taught was "polite." I'd rather just start from where you are and go from there.
@FredericaBimble I was really ornory last week, walking through the forest and people coming by were saying 'hello' and I just thought "well I'm not gonna cause I just dont feel like it". My daughter did, but she was in allignment ^^. And the fun part was, that I felt empowered from not being polite and thinking "I dont care what YOU think I care about my allignment and right now, this feels just a little better. Nót being polite".
Nice one! The most important thing is at all times - or at least as much as you can - just BE YOURSELF! I have discovered how liberating it is to stop forcing myself to be this or that. Whatever I am in the moment is perfectly OK.
Yes, so true! Being naturally friendly and respectful, from the heart, that's better than acting polite as we are trained to behave. Much love.

being polite is sort of acting different than your vibration, it sux
being naturally friendly is acting from your inner knowing and absolute sincere
