@markssite Did you ever find the answer to this question, bro? I just ordered one of these, I want to shoot it with the carry handle sights for a while but eventually I'll get itchy fingers and want to tacticool the whole gun.
@mrjimbles84 I could never figure out how to install it so i just took it to a local gunsmith. you can get the RIS made just for the ops version of this rifle on cheaperthandirt for only around $80. I got the RIS, a really good green laser, bipod, flashlight, fore grip, and an extra 30rd mag for barely $200.
this rifle is a piece of junk! bought 1 brand new from sportsman warehouse and put about 600 rounds through it. i had anywhere between 1 to 10 failures per mag no matter what ammo i shot through it cheep blazer! all the way up to to wolf match grade 22, the ammo Russia uses in the Olimpics! not worth the money! get a spikes tactical upper, dedicated .22 LR upper for your AR-15 lower uses blackdog mags
@matteoradi he did confirm that it worked...every time he pulled the bolt, it flapped open, if the weapon was fired and the dustcover was up, it would fall just the same. he did it a few times, its a really nice system 0:45
I hate to hear all the bad comments about the Uamerx/colt/walther m4 stpled 22LR rifles. I have the M4 OPS version and the only problem i have came accros is that it didnt like the remington golden bullets. altho this rifle has a bolt speed adjuster screw, ive never messed with it. a lil time and probably any ammo would work if you wanted to find out the right speed. Ive also shot a whole brick (550 Federal) through my rifle and didnt have one hiccup? i do believe a clean gun is a happy gun tho.
I have one and in my opinion ,no. I can highly recommend either the Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 or the Sig 522, both of which are much better in both design and quality.
I just bought the M4 and I have problems having the ejection port to stay closed. it wont close. anyway i tampered with it still not the same as my M203 that I had. I havent fired it, soon I will find out if it is accurate.
what type of firing system does it use? i heard the bolt catch is non functional and the forward assist is kinda there for looks. but i wander if the lower receiver is similar enough to the ar15 lower to adapt a working bolt catch. i can live without the forward assist but that would be awesome to fit a real forward assist. im assuming the dimensions must be just about the same to a AR
@anteracmacash well im in Australia so we cant have guns like this :+(. .223 here is $25-@30 for 20 where .22 is $4.25-$6.75 for a box of 50. No matter what quantity you shoot its cheaper. Even if you were to reload your .223. You dont buy an M4 or .22 copy for its accuracy and hunting ability. you buy it so you can blast away or do run and gun comps
@AlsTube2008 what the fuck does the army have to do with these retards runing and guning ???run and gun has nothing to do with military tactics and what these rednecks are doing is simply useless...
these so called retards join the army. Buddy how about you go hate something else. you may aswell be a tree hugger as you clearly dont have anything positive to say about guns or the wide comunity that uses them. .22 is cheaper as my original post and ur rubbish comment is exactly that rubbish. maybe you are a redneck outcast
@AlsTube2008 dude I love the military and guns...but these retards join the army after running and gunning...and run and gun has nothing to do with actual military training...it is literally just a bunch of fatass retards running around and shooting guns
each to their own, atleast they are getting out from behind their pc unlike alot of keyboard elitests. i may not like every discipline of shooting though i still respect it for what it is. Hell i reckon i would enjoy doing a run and gun shoot
@anteracmacash link didn't work. you missed the point. yeah its not a discipline, i still have respect for what they choose to do. it doesn't have to be for everyone. just cos i love the guns i have and the shoots i do doesn't mean everyone has to have them and do the same shoots if you get what im saying
@AlsTube2008 he dosen't contradict him slef...pay atention...he is talking about the usefulnes of run and gun in real life situations...and taking shots at a firing range will certanly give you more results then run and gun...an alternative would be instinctive shooting, but it has nothing to do with run and gun...
@anteracmacash In some countries civilian ownership of firearms are limited to certain calibers. Its a way for civilians to legally own an M4 Carbine
I am in the US and I can tell this rifle is excellent! Tip for anyone that is going to buy one....stay with CCI ammos and stay away from remington and winchester. I only use high velocity ammos and hyper velocity and this thing is POWERFUL and ACCURAte!
Does anyone know how to swap out the standard hand guard with the replacement RIS?

Here in Italy all the dust cover DOESN'T WORKS!!
A little portion of the metallic locking mechanism has been removed in order to prevent the closing.

Hi, can you confirm that the dust cover works?
The Umarex in their site said that it doesn't works.
Thx

@matteoradi the video shows how it open when you pull charge handle.

I have an question... When you change the magazine, you have to pull the charging handle like the .233 or you just put the fresh mag?

When I put Aquila Super Max in HP or FMJ that pumps out at 1750fps in my m4-22 carbine the gun goes into full auto. Try it out.
it is made by Walther. Says so in print on the receiver

why would someone by an M4 that fires pistol rounds ????
anteracmacash 2 years ago
the geco pistol ammunition is a rimfire special round for selfloading pistols, it is a little more load than standart rounds.
mastercorporal 2 years ago
Cheaper to shoot.
MAYNARD4507 2 years ago 2
It's simple! To save money of ammo! *LOL* Have you priced .223, 5.56, 7.62,etc., ammo as of late? It's still high but coming back down to Earth.
KD4UXH 2 years ago
cheaper ammo, usable for CQB. Look up the Colt M635, it was basically a subgun version of the CAR-15.

maybe because its up to 1/5 of the cost and you can have just as much fun???

Can you use subsonic ammo in this gun? PLEASE REPLY
ultimatevideowatcher 2 years ago
subsonic works not realy god, but standart rounds works better.
i use geco pistol standart rounds for precision and cci stinger rounds for long distanz shooting (up to 100 yards).

I can only recommend this rifle

that´s correct, cci ammo (cci stinger) is realy accurate,

Hi, these will be available in the uk later on this year, there is no mag cap on .22, should cost around £500 - £600 approx
