Good question. It was the most points scored all year on Kansas. There are a few reasons. First of all, this was Ganz first ever start, so KU had no game film on him and thought that NU was going to be running the ball. They were wrong, which lead to 24 first half points. KU made halftime adjustments and the first team only gave up 7 the rest of the way. NUs last 8 points were scored after Mangino called off the dogs and put in his second team defense to go up against NUs first team offense.

great video, one interesting thing about KU's point total was KU had 76 points with 11:12 left to go in the game.

opponents averaged almost 500 yards per game against the "blackshirts" they had the nerve to say we ran up the score...after watching them do the same for over 20 years....i call it karma :)
