Moniequa, If they were to act the way they "suppose" to act, then we all would look at this movie differently. This is part of life, we observed, then we think about it, and hopefully learn from it. We all could see what is wrong and what is right, and we all have our own perspectives. To think about it, I believe this is a good movie. They did a good job in making us, the viewer to think how they wanted us to think.
I don't think the writer is intelligent enough to have that kind of idea in mind. If s/he is, the movie would've turned out exactly like real life. Rich, snobby Khmers, I do know many of them, do not act and sound like that. I have viewed to many good movies to accept this piece of trash as a moral story. Well, actually it is a moral story that is poorly written by an in apt idiot and played by stupid monkeys.
Yes, I agree with you Tonghor. The directors and producers need to be more educated producing movies. Their movies are so lack of substance. They are so predictable from one scene to the next. I like to see more unpredictable scenes to keep me interested in what is going to happen.

This is the weakness of Khmer movies. Actors do not speak naturally as they do in real life. But that is because of the producer and director. They want to finish making the film as soon as possible. Actors do not need to memorize the script. The script will be read to them as they act, so they need to divide their attention into listening and into acting, making their acting unnatural.

Childish scene, the mother is being childish. I cannot stand the way they act.
Also, the women need to look natural and less make up.
