You know the Interceptor 1000 isn't aka the 1200F.. Both bikes are very different engine and technology wise. Also the 1984 bikes came with a 3 bolt crank shaft which would break under torque, so Honda switched to a 4 bolt crank shaft to fix the problem in 1985.
@dhowser2008 yeah lol I said 1200 because I kept looking over at the bmw k1200rs sitting beside it. I put an annotation edit after I realized my mistake. Obviously the new VFR1200F and this one have the same badges but are very different bikes.
my father has one of those with the same color scheme, only 500 built with that color! His has 300 miles on it and is just sitting in the garage, (poor thing). Anyway, keep this beast, they are sky rocketing in price!. Nice Vid.
The first of Honda's 1000 cc VF range, known as the 1000 Interceptor, was launched in the USA and Canada in March 1984. The VF1000FF was sold in Europe, Australia and Canada and was discontinued in August 1987. I'm talking Interceptors, not the entire VF1000 line.
VF Interceptors were only made from '84 to '87, but thanks anyways.
