  • nice video but there's no whites...

  • Fancy that. It's a small Roman broach.

  • the video is good but it would be great if it wouldnt talk too much about minelab

  • Great video. Just a question, is there a good all-around detector with in $200-$300 range? I'm a newbie.

  • @swaghunter Tesoro Compadre $160

  • I just bought my first metal detector. I live just outside NYC in the suburbs where a lot of colonial villages use to be. Im hoeping to go into the woods and see what I can find. I already know a few abandoned structures deep in the woods. Hoping to find some colonial-era coins

  • Well done Gary ,Gordon & Pat & Meee R2tag I was on the sound boom, that was a great days filming & at time very funny love it thanks guys.

  • Well done video you guys. Great info for the new detectorist. Just hope new detectorists don't use small shovels in parks...that wasn't made clear where to use a shovel and where not to.

For the previous question about who to ask permission in a park...either ask at the entry point of the park if it is manned booth or call the local parks in your phone book to ask to speak to the city, county, state parks manager for that park(s).

  • Now this is sort of 5-Star information. Great Vid.

  • where do you ask for permision if its a park

  • Thanks I was looking for this exact video.

  • Definitely a video targeted at those who have never detected before but still a great video. I wish there was something like this available when I started detecting.

    Thanks for uploading Gary.

  • Very clear and informative advice. Nice job!
