i baught a balisong bottle opener on ebay. havent got it yet so not sure of the quality. you could try it though.

His account is called 'crazycoolbuys', if you try from any other account it says they are illegal due to some bullshit "Knife" policy. anyway, hope this helped.

I have a question totally off topic.... I recently bought a used benchmade 3500 SBT auto knife, It came with the box, paperwork ect. My question is, on the blade where all the other ones I checked out say benchmade inside the butterfly mine says "BALISONG" Do you have any ideal why?

I have the black one, and I like it as a legal alternative to play with in public. However, it is very different from a real balisong. It's very light (obviously), and the handles are round and smooth, which doesn't provide a good grip. Also, the plastic around the spaces will break very easily, especially if you drop it. Just don't expect it to be just like flipping a real balisong. In my opinion, the flipping action is very different. Still good legal alternative, though.

I see something you didn't mention, it would be a good training aid if you're just learning how to flip a Balisong. You could practice with it and not worry about getting cut!!
