Hell, everyone talks about the Graphics. They are amazing, but the gameplay is what makes it special. Anyone can make a game that looks like Crysis (Today, of course) and make it linear and boring. But it's hard to make a game look good, open world, and interactive with great AI (The AI is a bit justified, some thinks it's good, some think it's bad).
And if you don't like something (i.e. Graphics, Better AI, Weapons) there is usually a MOD for it, and a huge community behind it all.

@MrQi19 I beat it on the highest difficultly in 10 hours.....and the game is terrible dude. Especially when compared to fps games nowadays. And ya being a 27 year old male with 4 children makes me a kid. Don't get mad just cause someone has a different opinion then yours. RAGE was a ok game. But it got boring in about 45 mins and got repetitive. If i wanted to play a generic shooter and run and gun threw a game. Id transport myself to the 90's and play doom like i did 18 years ago.
@FlamingHotKittens actualy MW3 uses and slightly updated version of the same engine which means ,knowing treiarch, that it will look almost identicle except for two more enemies on screen at once and slightly better shadows................BATTLEFIELD 3!!!! ps sorry if i spelt the developer name wrong.

I can't wait to get my alienware m14x laptop, which should be coming this week or shortly after. I'll be able to play this game and many others on high settings.

My 5850 can run it on 1920X1280 @ 30-35fps, with very high 8X AA with some lag spikes with 4XAA perfect no slow downs what so ever.
So it was 3 years ahead of its time, by far the best looking game (rapes killzone, Uncharted, Alan Wake, Gears of War in visuals make them look ugly to this date.. 3 years later impressive, nothing has even come close yet)

@XaleTorren well, I wouldn't say it'd make Killzone look ugly, but its still a very nice looking game. The thing that Killzone had on this game was intensity of the war (notice how I didn't say battle). Crysis did have intensity, but only as in battle forms (smaller conflicts). Its still the best looking game, but try not to exaggerate its pros too much.
Console fanboys are just jealous that a game with insane graphics is not on the consoles, and they come up with bullshit argumens to justify themselves such as "You need a 5000$ to play this maxed out".
It won't even cost you half of that. (Unless you're buying it from Alienware, in which case it most likely will).
A think that they are also forgetting, is that they are comparing the performance of the game running at 1080p, while 99% of console games run at 720p. Big difference.

yeah crysis could run on the 360 with no problems as long as they tone down a few of the textures etc. there will be hiccups in it but that's no huge deal...but if they can port far cry 2 over they could easily port crysis.
.....crysis cant run on the 360.....it does not have enough RAm to support the game.....Crytek even said.....if it were to be ported to a console it would most likely be a PS3.....but everything would be shitty/..........

i remember i was playing the game once for about an hour and i had no idea that i was actually playing it on very high with good framerates. Then i realised it was because i had set the resolution low without realising lol

dude there are many videos about the bad AI, the review on G4 said it as well, look it up. The AI just gets confused sometimes on what it should be doing. Sometimes they forget to attack, sometimes they hide on the wrong side of an obstacle. this is not old news. Look up "Crysis Hey I'm"
All I said is that it could use some work. Once 3 guys were stuck in the same little building because one guy got stuck on a chair. so they were turned around and completly unable to do anything from move to shoot even if I stood in front of them.
That's the thing of AI, it's artificial, means it's very hard to make it perfect. The CPU chars are limited to a set of commands, they could be given more commands but it'd require even more CPU power and the closer you get to perfect the more power you're gonna need to make it better.
Ut3 is better. environments crysis wins but models such as veichles, bots, weapons Ut3 is best. ut3 also has a Much much much better ai so if you like online go ut3 and if you like storys and good campaigns go crysis
Consoles would never surpass the PC partly because no one wants a 2000 buck Console but a 360 definetly has better graphics then a NV6800 and it should run just fine. Halo 3 comes no where near this thing. Anyone that tells you they're on the same level obviously haven't played this with the settings maxed out. I have played Halo 3 and trust me, this game beats Halo 3 in graphics, game play, and storyline.
Fine, my bad, I shouldn't have said that, I liked Crysis' storyline better than Halo 3 and apparently so does many critics out there but it's more of a personal opinion. You could of enjoyed Halo 3's storyline more than this but this is what I think.
I'm sorry if I came off as rude, I just found the story to be... bad. But the superior graphics, audio and gameplay to Halo 3 more than make up for it.
Although this game cranks up to give you that full pump of your twin 8800s and makes you feel better for having Vista, it runs perfectly fine on a low-end system, and I mean VERY low-end. It ran smooth on a AMD 64 3500 a NV6800 and one G of ram even on the lowest settings the graphics look mose importantly it barely lagged.
consoles don't work like that. half a gig of ram in a 360 is not the same as half a gig in a pc. totally different hardware. they could pull it off with minor drawbacks on the graphics.
good.. im happy. a great games deserves a great score. im glad it at least got as good as halo 3 so xbox ppl cant just brag all day about it being the best fps.. i have Crysis beta and demo and they are both rly fun. everything in the game is great, i only have one complaint, its now out for another 3 days! i want now :( 3 days is gonna take foreverrr :(

Ut3 is better. environments crysis wins but models such as veichles, bots, weapons Ut3 is best. ut3 also has a Much much much better ai so if you like online go ut3 and if you like storys and good campaigns go crysis

Consoles would never surpass the PC partly because no one wants a 2000 buck Console but a 360 definetly has better graphics then a NV6800 and it should run just fine. Halo 3 comes no where near this thing. Anyone that tells you they're on the same level obviously haven't played this with the settings maxed out. I have played Halo 3 and trust me, this game beats Halo 3 in graphics, game play, and storyline.

Fine, my bad, I shouldn't have said that, I liked Crysis' storyline better than Halo 3 and apparently so does many critics out there but it's more of a personal opinion. You could of enjoyed Halo 3's storyline more than this but this is what I think.

Guys, don't say shit you have no proof on...
Although this game cranks up to give you that full pump of your twin 8800s and makes you feel better for having Vista, it runs perfectly fine on a low-end system, and I mean VERY low-end. It ran smooth on a AMD 64 3500 a NV6800 and one G of ram even on the lowest settings the graphics look mose importantly it barely lagged.

Nah, it needs a minimum of a Gig of RAM, and a reccomended of 2 Gigs. The 360 has half of the minimum. That means it would not be good.

consoles don't work like that. half a gig of ram in a 360 is not the same as half a gig in a pc. totally different hardware. they could pull it off with minor drawbacks on the graphics.

good.. im happy. a great games deserves a great score. im glad it at least got as good as halo 3 so xbox ppl cant just brag all day about it being the best fps.. i have Crysis beta and demo and they are both rly fun. everything in the game is great, i only have one complaint, its now out for another 3 days! i want now :( 3 days is gonna take foreverrr :(
