Im right at the front of the ACF behind on the left was really good we were in step was a great day im a L Cpl and it was my first time going was good experience at 1:18 obviously behind the adult in front :P
The best lot that was marching other than the pip band was the ATC the ACF and UOTC where at times very very bad,If we done that when i was in we get out butts kicked.Someone please get them marching right.
@bealach Just to set the record straight. The ACF is army cadet force (they wear green which is the same as the army), The ATC is the Air Training Corps (they wear blue (which it the same as the RAF)
The cadets are the ones behind the veterans. The ones in front are the TA or the OTC and should be able to march properly.
And if you really look at the ATC they can march properly and in step!!!!
@Tiggr14 The first group in 95s is a combination of UOTC and TA. Sadly the UOTC outnumbered us quite substantially, making our drill look as crap as there's. Those who have purple hackles and wearing smocks are TA, the rest are UOTC.
@Woolies2007 Thanks for clarifying who is who, I have seen the TA in action and that is why I said that they should be able to march. When do the UOTC learn how to march? I have seen a few of them down at base in Stirling and have to admit the cadets behave better than them
@Snyper4ndy When do the UOTC learn to march? We asked ourselves that same question when we were told we'd be joining them in the parade. Drill on Saturday morning was interesting to say the least. UOTC is considered more of a social club and a means to earn money.
Nice, but why are the soldier not in step? Don't they learn that? Nonetheless, it's great video and I LOVE the pipes. Have been to Stirling last August and loved it! :-)
@btlim5163 The ATC (army cadet force) is a youth organisation that models itself on the army, but is not part of the British army. Yes, I can`t believe how embarrassingly bad they are at marching, as I believe they practice military drill! I was in the BB (boys brigade) as a teenager, and we could march perfectly :-) Sadly no BB companies left in Stirling centre to show them how it should be done!
I am part of the ACF that marched through stirling and the reason some of us are so bad was because a lot of them where recruits first parade

What a shambles at the rear. Scout leaders chattering among themselves. Still, better that than texting.
