  • dude, just get an ionizing air filter from the thrift store and mount a stainless steel strainer in the air path, completely electrically isolated of course. Take the ionizer element out of the filter and connect the HV output to the strainer. Power it with an inverter. The strainer will provide much more surface area to ionize the air flowing through it, than a small spark gap.

  • what are trying to do ? is this about the spark or the ozone ?

  • The potential differential in the car coil is not high enough so you will have to increase the voltage tension reducing the amperage and increasing the voltage output, you can do this by diodes and condensers, hope you know electronics.

  • you could have another car coil with the poles switched, it would give twice the potential voltage between 2 plates.

  • i use a 555 timer to drive the flyback

    it is more stabel that way

  • Does the alternator produce ionized air perhaps? Just try to take the intake air through the alternator? It just hit my mind :-)
