The US government is becoming as controlling and intrusive as those other shit holes that lack freedom, people are losing opportunity as this collectivism bullshit is perpetrated. When our people were free, both economically and socially, we were the envy of the world. As we lose our freedom page by page, we are becoming more and more like the rest of the broke ass world. Obama is not a patriot. As a global citizen, he believes all that Marxist Commie bullshit. And we are now paying for it.
I love how everyone thinks with hardwork you can become a millionaire too, well a LOT of people work hard,so where are the multitude of millionaires, why is it that the top 1 % has more money than 95% of the people in america?
Obama & his hand outs Thats how he's winning, to many lazy ****s in this country. Wlling to blindly follow him as he promises free $!
Thats how all totalitarian dictatorship & communistic govt takes power. Congratulations america, we will never be the same. Govt is already taking over banks & businesses.
We have a chance to find a different leader before completely turning R backs on everything WA fought the British for.
Rich & slaves, back to 1860, with no Lincoln in sight
I live in Ca. I have never in the 30 yrs I've been here see unemployment this bad.
While so many Americans are out of work, Obama & the Labor Department have already launched a program to allow hundreds of thousands of illegals to work in the US. Also note that this program was launched months before his expected jobs speech tonight. This , because he wants these illegals to say in the US instead of going back to Mexico which is just down the street
Obama has more interest in taking care of millions of illegal aliens...including the ones in his own family...then actaully fixing anything in this nation. The more people on public assistance...the more votes for Obama. California used to be such a nice place...shame.
"whats the big deal?".....I worked for my "sitting pretty" money just like the waitress worked for her money. The government cant mandate people to be neighborly. This is an individual mandate. If i see someone in need i spot them some cash. Its not the government's job to punish me for being successful, blessed.
(B)..CONT'D...paying the bribes, or from whom cash is stolen, to those receiving it; the economy benefits hugely as the money is spent on new cars, homes, furniture and consumer items, their kids go to better schools and then to college, and go on to better jobs than their parents.
The article and the situations it describes provide an excellent example of redistributionism in action, and suggest what is clearly necessary to enable the US economy to recover.
(A) Required reading for all Americans: How Crime Keeps America Healthy, Wealthy, Cleaner and More Beautiful - article by Mario Puzo, Cavalier Magazine, 1966. Describes how low-level crime - cops, fire and building inspectors, government bureaucrats and others taking bribes, cashiers stealing cash, and so on, lifts the incomes of low-paid employees and enables them to contribute more to boosting demand, leading to economic growth and prosperity.
if you raise taxes on cigarettes from 35% to 43% and drop taxes on sunflower seeds from 20% to 10%, you will more people buying sunflower seeds and less people buying cigarettes. if you change taxes on rich by the same increase and change taxes on the poor by the same decrease, you will get less rich people and more poor people. it's that simple, but for some reason some choose to neglect this basic economic concept
LOL. Obama apparently never paid attention in history class. look at all the countries that had revolutions. what happened? Big peasant and middle class gets angry at small wealthy ruling class. they get radical eventually. eventually the have a reform.
that said, reducing taxes of the wealthy is pronunciating that separation even more. When the revolution happens (as I predict it eventually will), we're going to be in (literally) a WORLD of hurt.
It is one thing taking and giving to someone who really needs help, like a handy capped or injured person...When it comes to stealing my money and giving it to someone who is too lazy to work and refuses to work, bullshit...Go make your own fucking money..
This discussion betwee the two whores is propaganda, which totally misses //any// and //all// of the salient points of the American Command Economy that is masterminded by the mass murdering Debt Syndicate.
fortunately for all you lovers of the wealthy, the republicans and Obama don't seem to be able to let the useless Bush era tax cuts expire . they proved to be so successful this last ten years, didn't they. Successful in helping balloon the deficit every ones so freaked out about, that's about it.
I am all for redistribution. He made the point very clear to me. What is so fucking scary about asking the rich to pay a larger percentage of tax than the middle class or the poor? I can't believe all the god damn sympathy pouring in all over the country for the rich and the possibility that they may have a slight tax increase. And that this is so frightening of a notion. F
@joegreaser We must understand that there is a basic standard of living we must all live at in a civilized society which includes education, medical care, transportation, food, and housing. I believe in working hard, but so much of our society has become an adversarial relationship when we should understand that our safety and prosperity is related to the stand of living in our country. The wealthy can afford to pay more about this basic standard of living and should do so.
@mordred612 The standard of living is too high. Things like medical care, transportation, food, and housing are something one should provide for himself. The wealthy can afford to pay more of their share, sure----but what makes it right for someone to take what the successful have earned? What happened to "ask not what your country can do for you." ? <-a democrat said that, a republican said this "'you can not help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.''
@bwheel012 No, the disparity of wealth is too broad. What makes it right for a CEO to make more in a bonus check than an employee will make working his entire life? Want to talk about entitlements? What about the wealthy entitlements? They believe they risk more or have worked harder so they deserve to be wealthy? Tell that to the guy working construction who might be killed or injured on the job. That's risk. Tell that to the person cleaning toilets with no hope for a better future.
@mordred612 Not everybody can be a CEO no matter how hard we work or how intelligent we are. There are people who must work at all levels. What pisses me off is these bastards at the top always talk about teamwork when work must be done. They're really quick to tell you how you help make the company a success, but when it comes time to cash the paycheck they aren't so willing to share. Share the burden, but not the wealth, right?
@mordred612 the people who are CEOs knew what they were getting into when they started their loooong journey to become what they are. People make their own decisions. If you want something YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for getting it. The government has no right to regulate what the companies do with their own money. It's actually their responsibility to protect my possessions, which includes the money I've worked for. I say give us a flat tax rate for everyone. What's more fair than that?
@bwheel012 Statistically a majority of the highest paid people in the US were born in a position of advantage. They were didn't have to worry about working while in high school to help out their family. They didn't have to worry about being shot in their neighborhood. They had parents who provided guidance. They went to "better" schools. They went to "better" universities. A flat tax would be a great idea if we all made the same amount of money.
@mordred612 that's right. They do get it "better" from birth. Silver spoon, blah blah blah. I don't want to hear that equal opportunity garbage---the library is free. Magnet schools , gifted programs are free, and to anyone with a little pride in himself , one can succeed. It's about work ethic and what one wants in life. As for the flat tax only being fair if everyone makes the same amount----bull. The flat tax is a percentage---if you make more you pay an "equal" amount but still pay more.
@mordred612 that's actually really not true, at least if you look at 2 or 3 generations. most of the people in the 3.1 million americans in the top 1%'s grandparents were lower middle class or flat out poor. to say you can't move up in this country is absurd. intergenerational poverty is a result of not valuing education. why should we fund the schools more when the kids don't want to go to school, and their parents don't care if they do? the problem is an attitude of ignorance.
@Welsh77 Well, if you go back far enough we were all born from the cosmic soup, right? I'm interested in the lack of opportunity today. Actually, the lack of education in the poor classes insures future people who are willing to work for nothing or rather have to. The cost of education is on the rise. Fewer people will be able to afford it which means less competition for the wealthy. A whole new crop of wage slaves is being produced. Welcome to the United Fascist States of Corp. America.
@mordred612 check out the 2007 treasury income mobility report, just google it it's the first link. the rich and poor are not the same people over time, a lack of opportunity really isn't as big of a problem as you'd think. make sure you're distinguishing between equality of opportunity and opportunity of results. the CBO has concluded similar findings: when you track the same people over time, the poor get richer and the rich get poorer
@bwheel012 I love your "every man for himself" kind of vibe that is so typical of America. Other countries see things differently; we believe that we're one big family. The CEO stands on the shoulders of those beneath him and couldn't have made it without is brothers. From teachers, to construction workers, to the people that buy his product, to the soldiers that stand by and gaurd the borders for him. Nobody truly makes it "on their own"
@DanLetts97 I understand that everyone is in it together, so to speak. This is true. I understand we need construction workers, trashmen, etc. But you speak as if you are going to do their job if they don't show up for work. Will you be cleaning up vomit off the floor if a janitor can't show up for work? NO. YOU WILL NOT. So that being said, its the janitor's job to do the janitor's job. Likewise, its not my job to pay for his/her dinner. It's not my job to provide for anyone but myself.
@mordred612 just because they can doesn't mean they should. It's their freakin money. Why should your treat them with inequality , haven't we already been through this with the civil rights movement? Let the rich people be free and have their property they've earned. Please read the constitution, moron.
@joegreaser They already pay a larger percentage than the poor and middle class. It is a fact that the top 50% in this country pay 97% of the tax burden. I realize you hate people who achieved because they worked harder than you, or didn't go out and get drunk or do drugs, but the facts will always trump your hatred of people whom you envy.
@ed200634 The top 50% pays about 90% in taxes because they earn about 90% of the income. Total annual income in the U.S. was around $10 trillion over the past couple of years. Of that $10 trillion, the top 50% earned nearly $9 trillion of it. So, yes, they pay more because they earn the most. I love that they achieved & contributed their share. Corporations should also pay their fair share. The corporate tax is about 34% but most of them pay between 10-14%, unless like GE they pay $0.
There's a very basic point that a lot of people seem to miss, but is key to this debate. And you'll never hear it on Fox because they don't want you to know it. But google "wealth distribution" and the facts are plain and simple. In America, the richest 1% of the population owns 33% the wealth. And the bottom 50% of the US population only have 2.5% of the wealth. That is what our founding fathers worked to prevent. The mega-rich with the help of Fox are pulling the wool over our eyes.
@Jim1399008 Hm I thought the founding fathers worked to become independent from the tyranny of the British Monarchy and to create a nation that minimized government interference in the people's live; they worked to create a small, limited, and controlled government.
What exactly is wrong with having a shitload of money? The rich clearly did something different and right, considering 80% of millionaires/billionaires are self made.
Why do the poor deserve the rich's money? They didn't earn it.
@Bronzecop Ummmmm. Because it is the wealthy who pay, and the poor who need/take the "free" money..
Think about it, the bottom 47% of Americans didn't have to pay income taxes for FY 2009, so it was only the top 53% who had to pay. Who do you think takes more benefits/entitlements, the top 53% or the bottom 47%? How is it NOT redistribution of wealth if you get "free" money or benefits while not having to contribute by paying into the system?
@Cosmo1093 Way to dodge my question, everyone's federal taxes funds the Pell Grant. Money & Wealth are different categories, now you would rather not have people have an college education making $45000-$95000 a year & giving back what they used and contribute more? Everyone pays taxes with money, not gold, land or industry. YOu social class stereotype is not valid since there is proof of tax dodgers in every class, but the CIA will take care of that.
@Bronzecop There are federal taxes such as the "death tax"/estate tax that do inherently redistribute wealth. Also, you make it sound like there aren't private scholarships or student loans..
I don't think you understand what I said. It is not that those 47% were evading paying taxes, its that they simply did not have to pay federal income tax because of a combination of not making enough and/or the tax breaks that came with the economic recovery package. Some even MADE money from the IRS..
@Cosmo1093 So how are these death taxes taking away someone's gold collection, land, or industry and put it in someone else's hands? They do not. & yes the Pell Grant is not a private scholarship or loan its a federal funded program to help those obtain a degree to get on their own. I know what you said, they got a tax break that year. So did the Upper Class under Bush.
@Bronzecop They take the wealth that the deceased intended to pass on to family or friends, do they not? That wealth may go to government benefit or entitlement programs. How is that not redistribution of wealth?
Around 33-40% of Americans didn't have to pay taxes between FY 2004-2008 either. Even though the rich are getting tax cuts, the top 1% of earners still pay ~38-40% of all collected income taxes, while 47% don't pay at all. So what's your complaint?
@Bronzecop So then how is it the top 53% of taxpayers' jobs to pay for the grants anyway?
Regardless, I'd rather have the funding for grants go to funding scholarships, which are given based on merit rather than financial need..although financial need might be a requirement for a scholarship. I think those with financial need should get student loans or scholarships if they demonstrate that they do have the merit..
@Cosmo1093 People paying taxes is not wealth, their paying with money or should I say income. I'm not complaining about anything, I'm just acknowledging what you said about them getting tax breaks in 2009. Scholarships have requirements like having a 2.0 GPA in college & how can someone in financial need pay for the classes if they cant atm to get to that point? & some require them to do field work that requires travel whcih they cannot afford already as well.
@Bronzecop Scholarships are usually awarded to graduating HS seniors, before they actually begin attending college. For example, from my HS last year, in a graduating class of 176, 68 graduates received a combined total of $1.25 million in scholarships to 4-year universities. If you can't attain a scholarship, there is still the option of student loans. If you just want to save money, there are community colleges out there which are easily affordable..
@Cosmo1093 Oh yeah HS ones where you have to take the SATs to qualify for & most kids in high school dont have the money nor a car to travel ot of county to take those. Denying ppl education wont help solve the problem of "Not Making". They paid taxes into the system when they were children earning allowance & the Pell Grant is something they put income into. Theres no problem with the Pell Grant, stop acting as if when they get a degree they get free money not finding a career.
@Bronzecop Yes, the same SATs that are required by all 4-year universities or colleges that people want/need the Pell Grant for, right? Out of county? SATs are administered at just about every public HS. The ACTs are administered all over the place as well. I'm not "denying ppl education", as there are multiple options other than government grants. I just don't think it's fair since the 35-47% who don't pay income taxes (or their parents) are the ones who actually take gov't benefits like this..
@Cosmo1093 SATs & ACTs are not required to qualify for Pell, didnt you look at on (fafsa.ed.gov)?. Look at yourself, "I just don't think it's fair since the 35-47% who don't pay income taxes" You're getting upset at ppl who dont owe anything, they paid federal tax & got some of it back and maybe got $8000 for being a new home owner in 2009. Ever heard the phrase "You gotta spend money to make money"? The gov't spent that tax to let the new comers of this world have a chance to get on their own.
@Bronzecop I never said they were required for the Pell Grant, I said that SATs and ACTs are required for the 4-year colleges and universities that people might need the grant to attend. So then you're ok with levying the tax burden onto only 53% of Americans?
Why shouldn't I be upset? People who don't pay taxes shouldn't benefit from the taxes payed by others.. That is quite simple leeching off of society.
"Spending money to make money" doesn't seem like its working very well for the US.
@Cosmo1093 You say 53% payed owe taxes when they file the income tax. But that doesnt mean that every working American is not paying federal tax every payday. You lost 1 or 2 thousand because you made too much, it could be worse. Do you even know what leeching means? So you're trying to say to me for the Pell Grant these kids sign up for it and dont even go to the office to finish paper work and recieve it, thats a lie & but try anyway. The U.S. is 4th place on the HDI in the world check it.
@Cosmo1093 Do you really think its right for 18 year olds new in this cold world to be debt? Or are you acting like this because you paid out of pocket for College?
@Bronzecop Of course I don't, but what's the difference between what you said about "giving back what they used and contribute more" to the government and repaying the loan and interest? One is just a free ride that doesn't require people to pay back what they used. It's like gambling with the money. The other doesn't take taxpayer money and they can still get the education they want but they have to "give back what they used"..
I'm not saying I did, but at least someone worked for the money.
@Cosmo1093 The difference is one your giving it back to country and letting those that come after you have the same oppurtunity. Also each pay check you give a little back with nothing causing you trouble & you give it back in no time with the careers ppl be getting. With a loan you give it back to a private company who only benefits himself from the interest that takes years to pay back and only the private holder decides who will get it or not whether there may someone who needs it.
@Bronzecop Unless of course the college graduate falls under that 35-47% of Americans who don't owe anything to the IRS, right? And what about the people at the beginning of the chain who were forced to pay but get nothing in return? IMO, a chain in which people continue paying for others is just stupid, especially when people are forced to do so, even if they had taken nothing in the first place.
Are you really complaining that a private company can decide what to do with their OWN money?
@Cosmo1093 The top of the chain is not the only group of people contributing to the system. Nothing in return you say? How about roads being repaired, facilities kept updated, the electric grid stays on & in good shape, healthcare, military prowess. You say its stupid but thats how the country stays in shape through taxes. Thats why I wont fall into the trap of a loaner, I rather have the military pay for my school & in return I'll give them 6 years.
@Bronzecop I mean they were forced to pay for others' college educations but get nothing in return. They never borrowed money, they just payed because the IRS made them.
That is among the best options IMO, those who joined the military do earn the money for a college education rather than just taking handouts.
@Cosmo1093 Thats how people contribute, I pay my 14% every payday & love it knowing I do my job as a citizen and making sure everything stays in working order. Go ahead & not pay it, the CIA will make sure you feel the punishment. Its not a hand out, uncle sam just doesnt give you a degree when you sign up for Pell. & when those students graduate & work the taxes they pay will cover what they took and much more. I already mentioned infrastructure is what taxes help maintain, you know the rest.
@Cosmo1093 & the deadline when someone has to pay it back doesnt help either, it holds the person who just graduated back for years before they really can get established thats the difference. & when do you see loaners donate that interest they charge to society? Never. You may make a little more than others & may be angry that they have the same chance as you. Guess what thats called "Keeping the Field Leveled".
@Bronzecop I'm not angry that they "have the same chances as me", I'm angry at how unfair it is for some Americans to be forced to pay for others to prosper, while getting nothing in return. That is not the purpose of taxes. Taxes are supposed to benefit those who paid, not those who don't. What you want is inherently unfair.
@Cosmo1093 You act as if the entire pay checks of others goes into the Department of Education when its just 14% of their taxes each pay day going into it and everyone pays 14% on thier pay checks each pay day. 91% of Americans are working & get paid, are you saying that 70% that work & need education to prosper do not deserve that chance? It is fair for those who are working & middle class that work & put money into it to use to get on their own & not need it later in life like the upper class.
@Bronzecop Yes, everyone does pay taxes on every paycheck, but 47% got all of it back or possibly even more for FY 2009 and 35-40% for FY2004-2008.
I never said they do not deserve the chance, but there are still MANY options other than taking "free" tax money. Military service, loans, scholarships, etc. I believe that the Perkins or Stafford federal loans are great options too, but grants are just crap.
@Cosmo1093 Grants are not crap, they make sure new comers can make progress instead of being at a stand still for 5 years & military personnel use it too. The governments job is to make sure the nation is prosperous, not hold it back. They dont get it all back, they get a portion of it back unless some package like the $8000 for being a new homeowner is around. Now you're starting to sound like you own one of these loan companies.
@Bronzecop Can you define "new comers"? Sorry but I just think that giving away money with no strings attached is unfair for the government to do, but the government having low-interest loans such as the Perkins or Stafford loans at least ensure that the tax money is paid back. Not only that, but hey, now they graduated college, can get a job, and can pay taxes as well.
...even before the recession, 38% paid no taxes for FY 2007.. I'm pretty sure 38% of Americans weren't new homeowners lol
@Cosmo1093 You feel its unfair because you feel its like a free degree is handed out. Like I said earlier hard work is still involved, the Grant just pays for books & fees thats it; gov't doesnt attend, study and sign paper work for you. Well the system is failing by just passing students along without them learning the material. It is needed for this world we live in today, everything is requiring a degree, its not like the 1st 50 years of 1900 where a factory job supported a family and more
@Bronzecop Once again, it is a huge gamble as to whether or not a student actually graduates, whether or not their major was in a moderate to high paying field, and whether or not they can even attain a job.
Ideally, students should be able to get long term loans from the private sector or even from the gov't where the only interest accounts for inflation. That is better than just giving money away with no strings attached.
@Cosmo1093 There you go again you neo-merc, "its gambling when you put money towards your people". Look at Central & Northern Europe, their countries pay all the way to a PH.D, you call that a gamble? No, its a safe bet. Just like making sure the taxes they pay gives them access to proper medical, infrastructure, etc.
@Bronzecop Yes, just what the US needs, to expand the "free" public education system through college because its not like our current K-12 public education system is already failing or anything..
@Cosmo1093 You know the rules of this harsh world, its adapt or die & making sure your geniuses are not being rooted out is one of these adaptations. Some loans are too much for ppl to handle & never get paid back, taxes are a safe bet because every payday everyone pays them. Please dont fall for the social class card trick where others make those of lower classes appear lazy, they're not. Many work just to make ends meet & get no where.
@Cosmo1093 There are rules for the Pell Grant though, you just cant be showing up to college & failing and expect to get it again. You have to pass the classes you take & maintaining a GPA. Fail 2 semsters & ppl will lose it. This demonstration of merit you speak of is applying and showing up to get it.
@plum26754 Good point. Obama seems very hesitant to spread HIS OWN wealth. BTW, was brother George also born in Kenya?
As a well-read amateur historian, I've noticed that the leaders of socialistic regimes always seem to amass great personal wealth during the most murderous and economically ruinous stages of their redistributive power.
You guys complain about big government when government is owned by the rich. For example, someone explain to me why George W. Bush got a $136 million subsidy to build a new stadium while owning the Rangers. To create new minimum wage jobs, and economically benefit the area. That's garbage. Taxpaying citizens helped Bush get rich. Almost all corporations get subsidies or tax breaks, then they outsource jobs, or hire immigrants, explain how that isn't corporate welfare.
Rob from the rich and give to the poor! BULLSHIT!!! Most poor people are fucking loser scumbags! Sure there are some rich people that are crooked but I godamned guarantee you that theres a lot more poor people that are crooked! Trust me, I know this shit.
@buyerofsorts do you think the rich are all law abiding citizens? most of them evade taxes from various loop holes in the red tape... taxes can be even 60% but after playing around they end up paying less than 5%
Borak Obama......What a frickin' Socialist. When I was a waiter......I had my sites on making more money on my own and not from a socialist that wants to give me a handout. I don't know what neighborhood you're from Borak..... Haiti somewhere I'm sure.
You have to understand Obama is the latest of a long line of heads of a Global Cabal that wants a One World Government. I can't honestly see what David Rockefeller is doing in this stuff..Wareen Buffet and Bill Gates are retards who were lucky to scam computer software and win at speculation and child rape. It's a conspiracy, Obama is just reciting lines, he has no new ideas most likely.
Didn't Rev. Wright pause in his America bashing long enough to cover the Ten Commandments?
And what about the man who paid his laborers the same wage no matter how long they worked? Didn't he say, "Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own?"
Folks, obama wants you to be ok with his stealing from taxpayers by lying to make it sound like compassion, that's all this is about.
The waitress gets less than Min. wage yes, but she gets tips. The amount of her tips depends on her performance. I am not saying that everyone is a good tipper, but if Obama thinks she should have more money he should take it out of his OWN pocket. Not pick the pocket of someone eating at home.
To say "I will pay a little bit more" is Neighborly. But to say "we will take it from you agaist your will in the form a a tax and give it to her" is stealing. It has no other name!
the big deal about you paying more is because you've worked your butt off to get where your at, where as anybody can get a job being a waitress. obama will take away people's incintives to work hard and reward lazyness.
thats bullshit!! what about people who choose low paying jobs such a primary school teachers. r u saying they dont work just as hard as say an accountant or doctor?
Cursings and blessings are determined by God and if a man gets involved in spreading ones blessings (spread the wealth) to those that may cursed then PLAY GOD and mock his judgments! That would bring a curse on the Nation!
"We're set up, unlike other states in the union, where it's collectively Alaskans own the resources. So we share in the wealth when the development of these resources occurs."
That was republican Teddie Roosevelt since then republicans have been doing "wealth redistribution" by concentrating wealth to a handful of citizens through tax cuts and deregulation that favors those that are already wealthy while harming the ability of average people to get ahead and stay ahead. Hence the shrinking of the middle class. But some people do read history books and understand economics thats why McSame will NOT be president.
Obama calls it "neighborlyness," Biden calls it "patriotic." Taxes, which rely on the full power of government for their collection, have neither of these two qualities. Charitable donations, yes; taxes, no. They just don't get it.
Well what if it is, African Americans at one point owned 200 acres of what is now mid town manhattan. That land representing BILLIONS was stolen from blacks by statute. I suppose you have no problem with that sort of redistribution.
hmmm forced neighborliness by law... interesting...
Next time a new couple moves in next door, don't bother giving them a housewarming gift, guys. Obama's got it taken care of. He's sent a couple men to your home to tear out your microwave and send it over to your new neighbors. Oh and be sure to have your tips ready, those guys will arrest you for tax evasion if you don't pay them for their service!
Will there be a new Cabinet Post, the Dept. of Neighborliness perhaps? Seriously, I'd like to know what the criteria are for this Fairness Entitlement. Should you no longer need your the money, will Obama stop paying you? Will there be regional considerations applied to the qualifications to receive Neighborliness? 250k is big bucks in Texas, but just a living in NYC.
The budget for such a Cluster Fuck Dept. would be off the charts. And that's before one dime is paid to anyone!
This waitress bitch you are referring to needs to go get a scholarship and get a education. I worked my ass off and deserve the money I have earned. THIS IS SOCIALISM. THIS IS COMMUNISM NOT A DEMOCRACY UNDER OBAMA'S PLAN.
This is how he's getting 92% of the niggers to vote for him. "Yo broddas and sistas! Want a free paycheck every month? Vote for me and I'll get you one!"
Typical nigger bullshit. "Oh....my great great great great great grandpa had his land taken away. It's about time I get it back...for him...200 years later!!! It's only fair!"
This man isn't qualified to be in the Senate....The Illinois Senate. Sure he has a nice story of a White mother who gave birth to him when she was 17 to an African/Muslim Exchange student, she being an atheist that was abandoned by the African/Muslim father after two years, to go home to his other wives in Kenya. Obama grows up partially in Indonesia with his mom and her second husband..another Muslim than enrolls young Barack in a Medrassa.
Obama, socialism is not neighborly. He is a socailist, radical idiot. According to what a community organizer really believes (I am not making this up) "Change" really means to invoke a socialist revolution. Right here, he is just accidentally slipping up and telling us what he really thinks. For more, see my video "Obama on Redistribution of Wealth:".

The article and the situations it describes provide an excellent example of redistributionism in action, and suggest what is clearly necessary to enable the US economy to recover.

if you raise taxes on cigarettes from 35% to 43% and drop taxes on sunflower seeds from 20% to 10%, you will more people buying sunflower seeds and less people buying cigarettes. if you change taxes on rich by the same increase and change taxes on the poor by the same decrease, you will get less rich people and more poor people. it's that simple, but for some reason some choose to neglect this basic economic concept

joegreaser 1 year ago
@joegreaser We must understand that there is a basic standard of living we must all live at in a civilized society which includes education, medical care, transportation, food, and housing. I believe in working hard, but so much of our society has become an adversarial relationship when we should understand that our safety and prosperity is related to the stand of living in our country. The wealthy can afford to pay more about this basic standard of living and should do so.
mordred612 1 year ago
@mordred612 I am in total agreement......
joegreaser 1 year ago
@mordred612 The standard of living is too high. Things like medical care, transportation, food, and housing are something one should provide for himself. The wealthy can afford to pay more of their share, sure----but what makes it right for someone to take what the successful have earned? What happened to "ask not what your country can do for you." ? <-a democrat said that, a republican said this "'you can not help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.''
bwheel012 5 months ago
@bwheel012 No, the disparity of wealth is too broad. What makes it right for a CEO to make more in a bonus check than an employee will make working his entire life? Want to talk about entitlements? What about the wealthy entitlements? They believe they risk more or have worked harder so they deserve to be wealthy? Tell that to the guy working construction who might be killed or injured on the job. That's risk. Tell that to the person cleaning toilets with no hope for a better future.
mordred612 5 months ago
@mordred612 Not everybody can be a CEO no matter how hard we work or how intelligent we are. There are people who must work at all levels. What pisses me off is these bastards at the top always talk about teamwork when work must be done. They're really quick to tell you how you help make the company a success, but when it comes time to cash the paycheck they aren't so willing to share. Share the burden, but not the wealth, right?
mordred612 5 months ago
@mordred612 the people who are CEOs knew what they were getting into when they started their loooong journey to become what they are. People make their own decisions. If you want something YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for getting it. The government has no right to regulate what the companies do with their own money. It's actually their responsibility to protect my possessions, which includes the money I've worked for. I say give us a flat tax rate for everyone. What's more fair than that?
bwheel012 5 months ago
@bwheel012 Statistically a majority of the highest paid people in the US were born in a position of advantage. They were didn't have to worry about working while in high school to help out their family. They didn't have to worry about being shot in their neighborhood. They had parents who provided guidance. They went to "better" schools. They went to "better" universities. A flat tax would be a great idea if we all made the same amount of money.
mordred612 5 months ago
@mordred612 that's right. They do get it "better" from birth. Silver spoon, blah blah blah. I don't want to hear that equal opportunity garbage---the library is free. Magnet schools , gifted programs are free, and to anyone with a little pride in himself , one can succeed. It's about work ethic and what one wants in life. As for the flat tax only being fair if everyone makes the same amount----bull. The flat tax is a percentage---if you make more you pay an "equal" amount but still pay more.
bwheel012 5 months ago
@mordred612 that's actually really not true, at least if you look at 2 or 3 generations. most of the people in the 3.1 million americans in the top 1%'s grandparents were lower middle class or flat out poor. to say you can't move up in this country is absurd. intergenerational poverty is a result of not valuing education. why should we fund the schools more when the kids don't want to go to school, and their parents don't care if they do? the problem is an attitude of ignorance.
Welsh77 5 months ago
@Welsh77 Well, if you go back far enough we were all born from the cosmic soup, right? I'm interested in the lack of opportunity today. Actually, the lack of education in the poor classes insures future people who are willing to work for nothing or rather have to. The cost of education is on the rise. Fewer people will be able to afford it which means less competition for the wealthy. A whole new crop of wage slaves is being produced. Welcome to the United Fascist States of Corp. America.
mordred612 5 months ago

Nobody truly makes it "on their own"

bwheel012 5 months ago
@joegreaser They already pay a larger percentage than the poor and middle class. It is a fact that the top 50% in this country pay 97% of the tax burden. I realize you hate people who achieved because they worked harder than you, or didn't go out and get drunk or do drugs, but the facts will always trump your hatred of people whom you envy.
ed200634 11 months ago

Jim1399008 1 year ago
@Jim1399008 Hm I thought the founding fathers worked to become independent from the tyranny of the British Monarchy and to create a nation that minimized government interference in the people's live; they worked to create a small, limited, and controlled government.
What exactly is wrong with having a shitload of money? The rich clearly did something different and right, considering 80% of millionaires/billionaires are self made.
Why do the poor deserve the rich's money? They didn't earn it.
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 Ummmmmm. How exactly the increased qualification of the Pell Grant redistribution of wealth?
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop Ummmmm. Because it is the wealthy who pay, and the poor who need/take the "free" money..
Think about it, the bottom 47% of Americans didn't have to pay income taxes for FY 2009, so it was only the top 53% who had to pay. Who do you think takes more benefits/entitlements, the top 53% or the bottom 47%? How is it NOT redistribution of wealth if you get "free" money or benefits while not having to contribute by paying into the system?
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 Way to dodge my question, everyone's federal taxes funds the Pell Grant. Money & Wealth are different categories, now you would rather not have people have an college education making $45000-$95000 a year & giving back what they used and contribute more? Everyone pays taxes with money, not gold, land or industry. YOu social class stereotype is not valid since there is proof of tax dodgers in every class, but the CIA will take care of that.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop There are federal taxes such as the "death tax"/estate tax that do inherently redistribute wealth. Also, you make it sound like there aren't private scholarships or student loans..
I don't think you understand what I said. It is not that those 47% were evading paying taxes, its that they simply did not have to pay federal income tax because of a combination of not making enough and/or the tax breaks that came with the economic recovery package. Some even MADE money from the IRS..
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 So how are these death taxes taking away someone's gold collection, land, or industry and put it in someone else's hands? They do not. & yes the Pell Grant is not a private scholarship or loan its a federal funded program to help those obtain a degree to get on their own. I know what you said, they got a tax break that year. So did the Upper Class under Bush.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop They take the wealth that the deceased intended to pass on to family or friends, do they not? That wealth may go to government benefit or entitlement programs. How is that not redistribution of wealth?
Around 33-40% of Americans didn't have to pay taxes between FY 2004-2008 either. Even though the rich are getting tax cuts, the top 1% of earners still pay ~38-40% of all collected income taxes, while 47% don't pay at all. So what's your complaint?
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Bronzecop So then how is it the top 53% of taxpayers' jobs to pay for the grants anyway?
Regardless, I'd rather have the funding for grants go to funding scholarships, which are given based on merit rather than financial need..although financial need might be a requirement for a scholarship. I think those with financial need should get student loans or scholarships if they demonstrate that they do have the merit..
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 People paying taxes is not wealth, their paying with money or should I say income. I'm not complaining about anything, I'm just acknowledging what you said about them getting tax breaks in 2009. Scholarships have requirements like having a 2.0 GPA in college & how can someone in financial need pay for the classes if they cant atm to get to that point? & some require them to do field work that requires travel whcih they cannot afford already as well.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop Scholarships are usually awarded to graduating HS seniors, before they actually begin attending college. For example, from my HS last year, in a graduating class of 176, 68 graduates received a combined total of $1.25 million in scholarships to 4-year universities. If you can't attain a scholarship, there is still the option of student loans. If you just want to save money, there are community colleges out there which are easily affordable..
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 Oh yeah HS ones where you have to take the SATs to qualify for & most kids in high school dont have the money nor a car to travel ot of county to take those. Denying ppl education wont help solve the problem of "Not Making". They paid taxes into the system when they were children earning allowance & the Pell Grant is something they put income into. Theres no problem with the Pell Grant, stop acting as if when they get a degree they get free money not finding a career.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop Yes, the same SATs that are required by all 4-year universities or colleges that people want/need the Pell Grant for, right? Out of county? SATs are administered at just about every public HS. The ACTs are administered all over the place as well. I'm not "denying ppl education", as there are multiple options other than government grants. I just don't think it's fair since the 35-47% who don't pay income taxes (or their parents) are the ones who actually take gov't benefits like this..
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 SATs & ACTs are not required to qualify for Pell, didnt you look at on (fafsa.ed.gov)?. Look at yourself, "I just don't think it's fair since the 35-47% who don't pay income taxes" You're getting upset at ppl who dont owe anything, they paid federal tax & got some of it back and maybe got $8000 for being a new home owner in 2009. Ever heard the phrase "You gotta spend money to make money"? The gov't spent that tax to let the new comers of this world have a chance to get on their own.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop I never said they were required for the Pell Grant, I said that SATs and ACTs are required for the 4-year colleges and universities that people might need the grant to attend. So then you're ok with levying the tax burden onto only 53% of Americans?
Why shouldn't I be upset? People who don't pay taxes shouldn't benefit from the taxes payed by others.. That is quite simple leeching off of society.
"Spending money to make money" doesn't seem like its working very well for the US.
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 You say 53% payed owe taxes when they file the income tax. But that doesnt mean that every working American is not paying federal tax every payday. You lost 1 or 2 thousand because you made too much, it could be worse. Do you even know what leeching means? So you're trying to say to me for the Pell Grant these kids sign up for it and dont even go to the office to finish paper work and recieve it, thats a lie & but try anyway. The U.S. is 4th place on the HDI in the world check it.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 Do you really think its right for 18 year olds new in this cold world to be debt? Or are you acting like this because you paid out of pocket for College?
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop Of course I don't, but what's the difference between what you said about "giving back what they used and contribute more" to the government and repaying the loan and interest? One is just a free ride that doesn't require people to pay back what they used. It's like gambling with the money. The other doesn't take taxpayer money and they can still get the education they want but they have to "give back what they used"..
I'm not saying I did, but at least someone worked for the money.
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 The difference is one your giving it back to country and letting those that come after you have the same oppurtunity. Also each pay check you give a little back with nothing causing you trouble & you give it back in no time with the careers ppl be getting. With a loan you give it back to a private company who only benefits himself from the interest that takes years to pay back and only the private holder decides who will get it or not whether there may someone who needs it.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop Unless of course the college graduate falls under that 35-47% of Americans who don't owe anything to the IRS, right? And what about the people at the beginning of the chain who were forced to pay but get nothing in return? IMO, a chain in which people continue paying for others is just stupid, especially when people are forced to do so, even if they had taken nothing in the first place.
Are you really complaining that a private company can decide what to do with their OWN money?
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 The top of the chain is not the only group of people contributing to the system. Nothing in return you say? How about roads being repaired, facilities kept updated, the electric grid stays on & in good shape, healthcare, military prowess. You say its stupid but thats how the country stays in shape through taxes. Thats why I wont fall into the trap of a loaner, I rather have the military pay for my school & in return I'll give them 6 years.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop I mean they were forced to pay for others' college educations but get nothing in return. They never borrowed money, they just payed because the IRS made them.
That is among the best options IMO, those who joined the military do earn the money for a college education rather than just taking handouts.
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 Thats how people contribute, I pay my 14% every payday & love it knowing I do my job as a citizen and making sure everything stays in working order. Go ahead & not pay it, the CIA will make sure you feel the punishment. Its not a hand out, uncle sam just doesnt give you a degree when you sign up for Pell. & when those students graduate & work the taxes they pay will cover what they took and much more. I already mentioned infrastructure is what taxes help maintain, you know the rest.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 & the deadline when someone has to pay it back doesnt help either, it holds the person who just graduated back for years before they really can get established thats the difference. & when do you see loaners donate that interest they charge to society? Never. You may make a little more than others & may be angry that they have the same chance as you. Guess what thats called "Keeping the Field Leveled".
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop I'm not angry that they "have the same chances as me", I'm angry at how unfair it is for some Americans to be forced to pay for others to prosper, while getting nothing in return. That is not the purpose of taxes. Taxes are supposed to benefit those who paid, not those who don't. What you want is inherently unfair.
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 You act as if the entire pay checks of others goes into the Department of Education when its just 14% of their taxes each pay day going into it and everyone pays 14% on thier pay checks each pay day. 91% of Americans are working & get paid, are you saying that 70% that work & need education to prosper do not deserve that chance? It is fair for those who are working & middle class that work & put money into it to use to get on their own & not need it later in life like the upper class.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop Yes, everyone does pay taxes on every paycheck, but 47% got all of it back or possibly even more for FY 2009 and 35-40% for FY2004-2008.
I never said they do not deserve the chance, but there are still MANY options other than taking "free" tax money. Military service, loans, scholarships, etc. I believe that the Perkins or Stafford federal loans are great options too, but grants are just crap.
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 Grants are not crap, they make sure new comers can make progress instead of being at a stand still for 5 years & military personnel use it too. The governments job is to make sure the nation is prosperous, not hold it back. They dont get it all back, they get a portion of it back unless some package like the $8000 for being a new homeowner is around. Now you're starting to sound like you own one of these loan companies.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop Can you define "new comers"? Sorry but I just think that giving away money with no strings attached is unfair for the government to do, but the government having low-interest loans such as the Perkins or Stafford loans at least ensure that the tax money is paid back. Not only that, but hey, now they graduated college, can get a job, and can pay taxes as well.
...even before the recession, 38% paid no taxes for FY 2007.. I'm pretty sure 38% of Americans weren't new homeowners lol
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 You feel its unfair because you feel its like a free degree is handed out. Like I said earlier hard work is still involved, the Grant just pays for books & fees thats it; gov't doesnt attend, study and sign paper work for you. Well the system is failing by just passing students along without them learning the material. It is needed for this world we live in today, everything is requiring a degree, its not like the 1st 50 years of 1900 where a factory job supported a family and more
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop Once again, it is a huge gamble as to whether or not a student actually graduates, whether or not their major was in a moderate to high paying field, and whether or not they can even attain a job.
Ideally, students should be able to get long term loans from the private sector or even from the gov't where the only interest accounts for inflation. That is better than just giving money away with no strings attached.
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 There you go again you neo-merc, "its gambling when you put money towards your people". Look at Central & Northern Europe, their countries pay all the way to a PH.D, you call that a gamble? No, its a safe bet. Just like making sure the taxes they pay gives them access to proper medical, infrastructure, etc.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Bronzecop Yes, just what the US needs, to expand the "free" public education system through college because its not like our current K-12 public education system is already failing or anything..
Cosmo1093 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 You know the rules of this harsh world, its adapt or die & making sure your geniuses are not being rooted out is one of these adaptations. Some loans are too much for ppl to handle & never get paid back, taxes are a safe bet because every payday everyone pays them. Please dont fall for the social class card trick where others make those of lower classes appear lazy, they're not. Many work just to make ends meet & get no where.
Bronzecop 1 year ago
@Cosmo1093 There are rules for the Pell Grant though, you just cant be showing up to college & failing and expect to get it again. You have to pass the classes you take & maintaining a GPA. Fail 2 semsters & ppl will lose it. This demonstration of merit you speak of is applying and showing up to get it.

We should not legislate neighborlienss.
We should not legislate charity.
Both are good things. But they are not the role of government. That is up to individuals and voluntary groups of individuals.

This is not a complete presentation. You cut off O'reilly's response. That is misrepresenting this interview and is dishonest as hell. Shame on you!

Who's stopping him from paying more? It's up to him. It's also up to every individual. The smallest minority is losing all rights.

With wealth comes power correct?
What did we all learn from Spiderman?
With power comes great responsibility.
So quit bein' a jew and help out our economy and fellow tax paying Americans.

being a jew has nothing to do with helping our economy, spiderman. quit being a tit and speak with some intelligence.

the big deal about you paying more is because you've worked your butt off to get where your at, where as anybody can get a job being a waitress. obama will take away people's incintives to work hard and reward lazyness.

Cursings and blessings are determined by God and if a man gets involved in spreading ones blessings (spread the wealth) to those that may cursed then PLAY GOD and mock his judgments! That would bring a curse on the Nation!

"The greates good for the greatest number"

PPPipeline 3 years ago
Then I'll be the first in line to get mine if he wins!
You use the term "African American", is your allegiance to Africa or America?
Then I'm a German English Polish American!
I'm an American first in my book!

The "Big Deal" obama is that the trend you want to start will push our country
into a Socialist regime, the true effects of which not be fully apparent until too late.
Just picture in twenty years or so, instead of paying 30-40% taxes, United States citizens will be paying 90-95%.

hmmm forced neighborliness by law... interesting...

One year after your post to this video we can see that you were close! Not the Dept. of Neighborliness, but the Czar!

2 students, one gets all A's the other all D's.
If the one with the A's gives the one with the D's some of their A's, both end up with all C's.
Never mind that the A student worked hard for those grades.
Just consider the fact that the D student wants what the A student has earned.
Result: The A student is punished for their success and has lost incentive to work hard.
The D student who never worked hard for anything will never have to.

You have got to be shitting me Osama!
Just a bunch of fucking goddamn nigger bullshit.
