I don't think that when you get your surgery defines you as a "real" M to F or not. It all depends on you, your situation, your doctor and your finances. Everybody's different and anyone who wants to undergo a sex reassignment should do it at the pace that they're comfortable with. Best of luck to you, sweetheart! <3

Having said that, these technologies take years to develop. I am already 30, and would hate to put this off until I am too old to safely have the surgery. It might be traumatizing for some people to lose a physical body part, including arms and legs. No matter how much they may want to get rid of it, they may still feel attached to it in some way. I guess it is a very subjective issue however, and some people might not feel comfortable enough with themselves to be able to wait. Also, social stigmatization might make waiting harder.
