Taking out the oil fill plug on the top side will speed up the oil draining out the drain bung 'cause your letting air in ... just like poking two holes in the top of a can of condensed milk ...
I always take my lower fairing off when I change my oil. It's six bolts and it takes less time to take off than it would take to clean out all that oil that could get in and on it. And second, my footpeg feelers don't look near as pretty and un-touched as yours lol.
it's rather pointless changing your oil and not your oil filter... the oil in the oil filter will mucky up the clean oil you put it, therefore undoing all your hard work :(... plus you can pop that sucker out straight away, it wont explode lol
right, i was reading that's because syn. can protect too well, and you want to break in the bikes internals without it yet so it doesn't become weak with syn. compensating for a proper break in? something along those lines.

If I had three wishes...
I wish this was the new 250
I wish it was part one of one
I wish he would have just gone "drip, drip, drip, drip..." for 20 minutes

If you spill oil on something you need to get it quickly. The longer you wait the worse. News paper for larger spills, a grease rag for small ones.
