Yes, almost all cam standard with the 6.5. Afew of the early ones came with 6.2 and a few gassers out there.

The supercharger install was not all that technical.

I guess if you drive it in peak hour city traffic every day, it might be OK to have an auto. But why not get a car for that, and keep the Hummer manual instead? Then you have the best of both worlds.

For highway and sporty driving, manual no doubt. For city driving an auto is probably best, but this is a terrain car. A manual transmission would certainly make it "raw", with the kompressor and all, but in the terrain an auto is more practical in my opinion. You can crawl very slow, and keep your mind on driving instead of having to keep a foot on the clutch all the time. Besides, I like driving a beast like this with only a toe on the gas and a finger on the steering wheel.(I have a Suburban)

If you'd tried it before, you'd know that you don't actually slip the clutch when 4WDing. You use low revs in low gears. No clutch slip. Using the brakes is dangerous when descending hills in offroad situations, as it can cause slippage and loss of steering. Simply idling down in a low gear is much safer and you have more control.

As for the FWD race cars thing, I think you have me mistaken for somebody else.
