Stone Henge & Avebury Stone Circle Rocks!

Great Pic, looking at the date on them I was on both sites only a couple of weeks after you guys. The family and I were lucky enough to see Avebury in the sunshine and Stonehenge the day after at -5c temp, bloody cold but dry.

I found it very hard to explain the broad emotions felt just being in such a fantastic and sacred place. Cant wait to go back in 2011....

My Fav was probably climbing Glastonbury Tor.

Yea i though those were orbs at first but in turned out they were just water droplets on the camera lense...they do just like orbs though don't they!

Was a great day & the weather seemed 2 fit the stones very well.

Yeah visiting Avebury made me think of our video...really enjoyed my time there.

We will have 2 catch up sometime...i now have the Skype software on my computer so i can make free calls 2 others that also have skype, if you haven't already got it you should check it out...that way we can talk for however long we want no charge ;)

I would like to visit this place someday. Must have been an amazing feeling to be standing close to the Stonehenge or touching those rocks. Those rocks looked very interesting. Wonder what their purpose was.

Yeah it was a great day for me visiting these places...i plan to return at some future time so i can see the stones in the sun as well as the grey, wind & rain i saw them in this time...it did make the atmosphere though i must say.

Theres many ideas as to what the rocks were used for as you probably know, & i have my own ideas about that which i won't get into here.

Wanted to take that pic in the hotel home! ;)

Nice video mate, i passed stonehenge about a year or so back. Had a strange vibe when i went passed it. powerful subtle energy it seemed.

And stumbled across a stone circle near were i live, chew valley about 6 months ago, was strange but nice.

Scorpio's not easy for the likes of leo's i've found, but they say that. I just keep grounded and all is well.

Stonehenge Rocks!! LOL. At least that's what my T shirt says. I was there in August and they had it roped off. I don't see the rope in your pics though. I have a picture of me standing in front of Stonehenge and my friend swears there's an orb but I can't see it. We didn't see Avebury but we did stay in Bath and that was really cool.

That probably is an orb in your picture... Stone Henge is a popular place not just for those of us keeping residence inside these bodies of ours ;)

A Scorpians traits...well you tend to like home & family life, you make good parents, you can & often are quite secretive, you do often have a interest in metaphyics & spiritual things, scorpians do have a dark side & the potential is there to walk along it...you are usually honest & open & make good freinds but you do have a sting in your tail & don't appreciate being lied to & so forth...

wonderful pictures! Some of those Avebury stones are massive!!!!!! Now I wish I would have spent an afternoon THERE instead of at the Roman Baths (in Bath) when I was there in January 2007. Sweet hotel room, too!

Thanks... Yeah i wasn't aware some of the Avebury Stones were that big either...like me you'd love it there, i did feel a bit of Goth kinda vibe 2 which i know you dig...i have yet to do the Roman Baths but i did walk past them whilst looking for food!! :D

Yea i do plan on traveling to many of the other scacred sites around the globe...i'd quite like to go to Macu Picu next.

I didn't experience anything around the stones out of the ordinary...i did feel a sense of stillness though similar to meditation...there were some people at Avebury with a dousing (spelling?) rod which was pointing directly at the stones.

Great stuff dude. Stonehenge and Avebury are fantastic places. The energy at Stonehenge is awesome. I can almost feel the Earth throbbing beneath my feet when I'm there.

Interesting that you mention the orbs too. We've all come away with some very strange lights and colours in our photos from the Winter and Summer solstices at Stonehenge. In one particular picture, there is a little swirling galaxy in the frame.

Anyway, great video, great music. :)

Yeah there's a definite vibe around these stones although as mentioned to HBH further down the page, on this day i didn't feel anything that out of the ordinary...maybe an increased sense of calmness...especially when touching the stones at Avebury...really enjoyed our visit & plan to return sometime.

I am so busy at the mo I don't get a chance to reply as quickly as normal. Yeah, things are coolio over this end, even better with the US election result. Puppet or no puppet the whole universe was glad to see the back of Bush and the republicans! I can really feel the change and the new energy. It feels amazing. I haven't felt so universally good in yonks! We just have to be careful the energy doesn't get manipulated to produce negativity.

Yeah, the Obama thing could go either way. I think they think they know which way he will go, but I feel there is still some hope because of the energy that manifested at that point. It is up to us to make sure he deals with the real issues, so people need to educate themselves about what is really going on, we can no longer sit back and let a leader dictate. Obama may be a dark horse, (no racial pun intended!) for the Light. Peace bro
