I fail to understand why anyone would want to come to a gong video page and make libellous, insensitive and confrontational claims against some free thinking artists/musicians from the 70's who were having some fun. I think The Daily Mail letters column would be more fitting for that purpose. Music, believe it or not, for some people is all about having fun. Nothing to do with politics or ego, bullshit, problems, negativity or anything else. That's being free. Accept it. Embrace it, enjoy it!

Actually as a reply to that joyless prick droogless,Allen advocated a drug free lifestyle as far back as 73. The whole 'gong mythology' was a pythonesque stab at the rather boring po faced political stance taken by their musical contemporaries.There really is no need to hate a bunch of immature hippys, who eventually grew up having taken mainly positive things from their youthful experimentation. I beg to differ. Daevid 'advocated' a drug free lifestyle for himself. I don't believe he ever told others they should not do as they would like. As for the rest of your statement, you have no idea what your talking about. The Gong trilogy was certainly full of humor and obsurdity, and some political content here and there, but theres MUCH more to it. I bet you think your an expert on every band and what there intentions were, dont you? Who are you to judge them as 'immature'.

I have this on VHS that my friends and i got a copy of from Daevid before it was released when he was in Houston town in early 90's... it's basically the Gongmaison band and this concert is very, very, very sweet! I recomend finding the whole thing if you are a fan.
