Hmm, never play FF7, so I can't say much on this remake.

Anywho, if it does happen, I wish SE the best of luck with it.

I just like the fact the FF13's main character is a badass woman, I like badass women as main characters.

Actually I like all RPGs with women as main characters, though there are quite a few.

I really, really hope they remake Final Fantasy VII! I can guarantee that if they remake the entire video game exclusively for PS3, it would probably bring them more money than they'd ever dream of getting from any one game. The old FF VII is hard to come by these days, it'd be amazing if they'd remake it for the new generation, and the old.

Unfortunately, due to the age where companies now feel their profit margin isn't big enough, and based on Square's actions this gen, the game would most-likely be on the 360 too.

Oh, not that 360 isn't good, but the graphics would be so much better on the PS3. I don't the 360 would bring out the best in the game.

I heard in an interview that the Shinra execs think that a remake would be too costly, so they'd rather throw out less thoughtful nonsensical sequels than an amazing remake that would be a surefire hit.

@JesusLovesMe0261 Hard to come by? Well in a cd, yeah. But as i see, you have a computer, so that means you can play emulators. There hundreds of rips of the original game, and if you owned the game at any point in time, you can download an iso and play on an emulator. And its not illegal if you have owned the game.

Very true! I'm really looking forward to Versus XIII. I heard that it's supposed to have the Kingdom Hearts battle system, which I'm extremely happy about. Though I love the Final Fantasy games, I'm not much of a fan of the battle system. I'm playing XIII now, and it's taking me a while to finish, I'm a very slow gamer, lol. I'm enjoying it so far, but it's got its ups and downs :)

That is correct. Crisis Core is a prequel to Final Fantasy VII and Advent Children is a sequel to it - but obviously the latter is a film, not a game.

It's because it's SD content designed at a time when we had the box-standard 4:3 and it's being upscaled to HD on widescreen.
