Did you do the plans yourself or did you find some and if you did...where the heck did you find them!!! Been looking for plans for this for almost 20 years. 8^\ Now days even though cash flow is an issue a proper turbine powered version would be worth the risk!!!
germans where smart ...they had greatest designs becuase they made the first wind tunnel to see the best shapes...nowadays wind tunnels still used with computers to get the best aerodymanics.
Yes, correct, the Ho IX V1 was unpowered. This model is simply based on it's design, planform, airfoils, etc. The pusher motor was just for convenience. --Gary
The Horten 18 Amerika Bomber was designed to deliver a nuclear or radioactive dirty bomb. It was similar in shape to the Horten 229 (9) fighter. I worked on a History Channel documentary about it. Lots of fun freelance work for a 3D guy.
Great! What is the model of electric motor? Thanks

Eh if this shall be the Ho IX V1 you are not right.
The V1 of the Horten Ho 229/Ho IX was a sailplane WITHOUT engines.
The V2 had its jet-engines, it crashed due to failure of 1 engine and another technical problem.
The V3 was almost finished by the end of the war, it waits for being restored at the Garber facility of the NASM.
If they don't repair her soon, there won't be much to repair left :( It started rusting heavily

the Horten Ho IX/229 was a fighter, not a bomber.
The planned (never built) america-bomber was the Horten Ho XVIII
