I used to love how his billboard was too small for her message so he'd hooked up that extension on the bottom for 'sitting' . I used to pass him several times a day back in the 80's, for something like 12 years. He always looked the same and never looked defeated. Strange man, but perhaps rather kindly .
I have his booklet "Passion Proteins" he was everywhere in the 70's and 80's and I saw him daily when I worked for a film company in Soho. However perhaps this is the only footage still existing of him.
He was a classic English eccentric. I bought his pamphlet and laughed for days at the weird prose and kooky typeface.
And I decided to increase my protein intake, but alas my passion levels remained the same.
