SO LAME!! Why is this called "Indy" Mogul?? There is not even ONE drunk Pacer, race car, or Peyton Manning. The landscape isn't even flat!! We Hoosier men never kiss guys unless hidden behind the barn. I want my money back.
GREAT Advice. The video response "Life Lesson 85" was done that way. We shot our video, recorded some car noise, then in the office re-recorded our lines.
AUDIO! YES! And an important rule to improv: Always accept the gift... always YES. :D Love that you mentioned it. The fun in editing shows through... true that! And OOOOOHHHH!! He went for it!
That idea about going up to the camera and speaking the lines into the mic.. I don't know. How would that synch up properly? I mean, I always hate watching short amatuer films that rely on the camera mic for sound. It's horrible! Also, synching the sound to the actors can be tricky. If it's not dead on it's like watching an old Kung Fu film. hah
I agree with joe6panther6 and Leadrunner that it would seem like recording a long stretch of ambient sound from the location and then "looping" the lines back home while watching the video would be more likely to produce good results, assuming you can manage to make your voice recording not sound like it's close-miked in a small room (when the footage, say, is outside).
Otherwise very nice tips. This was an easy interview -- just wind up those guys and watch them go. :-)
shouldn't have asked a question...ha ha lesson in improv!! Dan and Rob are tha Bomb!

Ugh, why did NBC take down their Heat Vision Pilot? They weren't losing any money on a 10-year old unaired Pilot!

If you're far enough away from the camera, it shouldn't matter too much.

Basically, a video with bad audio can make someone commit suicide? xD
I graduated school today, Time to make some better videos now that I have the time to do it =)
I liked their example of re-doing some of the talking close to the mic so you can use that to cover up noise from outside.
One of the bigger videos that i'm going to do actually requires me to do voice-overs of myself, as i cannot have a microphone in front of me for it.
