@SteWildMF A team is not about one player, a team is about how all the players work together. How the good players bring out the bad players. How in overall they stay a good team. There are a lot of examples out there. Just take real for an example when they had beckham, zidane, carlos, ronaldo and stuff. They didn't deliver as expected because they were just new signins not really a team playing team.

"Glory hunting" describes fans not a club.
A glory hunter would be someone who only starts supporting a club when they start doing well, and often switches clubs if another one becomes more successful.

@OriginalYTName A club is a brand. The more successful the brand the more new fans it draws in. It comes with success. Football has changed, it's more commercial. There are many fans around the world supporting teams like Liverpool, Arsenal, West Ham United, Leeds United, etc. All this outside England. I have met people who support Leeds United and they never been to Leeds or their games. So to assume that all foreigners support Man United is not fair. In fact many people hate them.

Im a liverpool fan and he's right. Liverpool played shit, they dropped out and didn't qualify the next year. If they deserved to qualify they would have. I know you will say "you're a shit liverpool fan!!" but it's the truth, Liverpool weren't up to par.
And I'm not agreeing with United fans though, it is true that they wouldn't have as many titles without Ferguson badgering refs and cheating points over the last 25 years. 90% of United fans are glory hunters anyway

not so much anymore. Considering liverpool haven't been successful on a huge scale since the late 80s early 90s a lot of supporters nowadays follow their parents and such - of course im focusing on the younger supporters here - United have been dominant since the 90s and a lot of fans follow them now.
But those who still (some "change" teams) support liverpool cant be considered glory hunters due to the lack of Liverpool's success in recent seasons.
