Man, I just wish this game was better. I just can't play through. The combat is just... horrible. There really aren't many redeeming factors about the gameplay. The visuals, the atmosphere, the sound (minus some lame voice acting) is all quite good, and the plot is interesting enough, but the gameplay is just... bad.

My issue was that the combat just wasn't fun. I think the big mistake was that they very sloppily combined turn based and real time combat. Fallout 3 did it well by clearly seperating the two, but here it's like they were thrown into a blender, and the combat comes out really sloppy because of it. Also, it's almost criminally linear.

The second one is Odin, he's a lightning based person, you should adjust your paradigms to what he needs. When you use libra on an Eidolon, you see what you need to do, plus you could equip spark rings to take less damage from his lightning attacks. That's why they provide you with those, before that.
No, he just gets attacked alot by Odin, duh -.- You can use potions to heal whenever needed, and for the rest, go all out. You're just giving up since you lose to Odin. It's known that he's one of the toughest eidolons to get, cuz he's terribly fast

Best is having spark rings, and then like with his Lightning Blitz thing attack, which summons lightning on all allies and all that.
I think there is a song in FF X or X - 2 similar to this. I can't put my finger on it. Square like to take song from old game, redo them and put it in new one. Play enough FF and you catch on. Like the Chocobo theme, that song change almost from game to game but there still a similarity in all of them.
@fireredlily you dont have to find it use realplayer sp it downloads and converts videos from any website even foreign sites. you can even turn them into mp3 with the built in converter it comes with. the best thing is that when you on you tube the download button appears above the video when your mouse hovers over the video. it even does audio downloads from audio only things.
