in this line he praise the Lord Achutha that he has been like a green mountain.

''Pavala vai kamala sengan'' means that

his lips seems like lotus.

''Achuthan amararenum Ayartham kolunthey''...means, hey Achutha (sri renga) u r the son of cow shepereds ! Oh Lord ,i won't indira loga even i may be its ruler,nothing but praise the name of u.

I am not a Tamil Scholar. This is my humble attempt to translate the Alvars Pasurams.

Sri Rangam is the holiest site for Vaihnava devotees, and the home of the greatest temple for Lord Vishnu on Earth.

In the first song he sings about the Glory of the Lord Vishnu and Sri Rangam.

O Lord, Thy art like a giant green mountain

The one with coral like lips and lotus eyes

Achutha (Name of the lord), King of the demigods

Pride of the Ayyar (Cowherders),

Chanting thy name is joyous.

I would rather be living in Sri Rangam (the holiest site for Vaihnava devotees, and the home of the greatest temple for Lord Vishnu on Earth) and be chanting thy name, instead of being the ruler of Indira loga (Kingdom of the Demigods)

In the second song he sings about the his plight (being caught in the cycle of life) and begs the lord of Sri Ranga for Salvation

I have not a single plot of land. I have none to call as relatives

I this world for salvation, I have gotten hold of thys feet

Lord of the Universe, the dark cloud like one, Kanna (name of the Lord)

I cry to thee, save me (begging for Salvation), the Lord of Sri Ranaga
