I remember the summer when I first saw this movie. Somehow the whole summer comes back to me when I hear this.. I totally love this movie and the soundtrack.. makes me cry.. I can't describe how I love this theme.. something deep moves inside me everytime I hear this.. It's like I feel those things I've lost through life.. those things you can't get back.. and it hurts.... This is why I love music, it can open locks inside you and it helps you to handle deep emotions :'(

This movie is so amazing, one of my favorite movies. People come in your life for reasons and seasons. WOW only four days, I've seen this movies six times. The music is so touching, I order the CD from Barnes and Noble. LOVE it is what it is.

I have never seen the movie but I think that the music is so beautiful. I heard it as background music to a video about a famous actor and I just had to find out more about the music. One of these days I will watch the movie. Based on some of your reactions to this movie, I think it will be worth my while.

Bridges of Madison County is one of the best love movie ever made. In this movie we saw what Clint Eastwood was able to deliver... his excuisite sensitivity, and his excellence in artistic direction made this movie, a true masterpiece. I SIMPLY LOVE THIS MOVIE, I BURST INTO TEARS EVERY TIME I WATCH IT. As for musical theme, I can only say it's so romantic & sound heavenly. Salute to Clint & all splendid artists who created this beautiful piece of art !!

When I was a young man, I took my mother to see this. I was a little embarresed and didn't care for Meryl Streep. But I grew up and fell in love with her. She's the greatest actress of all time. And her and Clint? How does it get any better?

@GreatMerylStreep Yes you're right, Meryl did give compelling performance in the movie, I particularly like the last scene when an aged Francesca opened a parcel sent to her by Robert who's already passed away... I am a man, but I remember tears run down my cheeks non-stop when I first saw this scene, it was profoundly touching, the atmosphere is so absorbing... Yes, Meryl is a great actress, I loved her ever since THE DEER HUNTER. Here's to beautiful Meryl !!

I just LOVE Meryl Streep--I live 3 hours from where the movie was filmed and have been to Winterset many times -- My 2 best girlfriends and I went 3 different times and spent the day--had lunch in Northside Cafe--sat in the stool where Clint Eastwood sat in the diner.. We were lucky enough to tour the house before it caught on fire--- as far as I know the family has not sold it and it's still not open....

@TheMasterNo6 I understand. I am happily married & would not change my life for anything, but this film reminds me of a love I had when I was a younger man. The relationship was a secret one and could never have lasted. After 6 years she took the brave step of ending it and went on to marry years before I met my future wife. It took around 8 years to get over losing her and she is still in my thoughts daily, and often my dreams. Some people never really leave eh? I hope you have found happiness.

Oh my gosh! I love Bridges of Madsion County sooo much. Meryl was flawless asusual. And she was so pretty with long brown hair. 2:06 has always been my favorite scene. When she has on that red dress and she's running after Clint Eastwood.
