Or when you go to the checkpoint spot just look down before the checkpoint so that you will always be looking down and the only need one rubber.

iron skull on!? if yes, turn it off. restarting the mission isn't possible, u could only get a checkpoint if the plasma grenade doesn't kill u.

after about 10 strikes. If there is a difference its working, if not, u fail and need to try again to get the right moment. ;-)

ok finally got it working. and here are some tricks:

1.) put black eye on then u definately die on ur plasma grenade (i always died anyway)

2.) if u r still able to get credits for the strikes, u need to check, and this is very important unless u wanna do all of this for nothing, that u get those credits while u r dying. If u dont get them u r not boosting ur commendations. If u are not able to get any credits for these even if u play without the "dying trick" check ur commendations before and

Tried it now several times, coz u can influence the time the rockets hit the ground. I did it that its turning red right after returning to the last checkpoint. if i do it without dying i get the credits, but i found out that the writing (checkpoint done) needs to disappear before u get the kills put into ur commendations. I also tried several times dying a bit later, but this seems to be not possible.

So its quite a new vid, but it doesnt boost anything. ;-)

I was happy coz I got everything the first try. right checkpoint, my plasma nade kills me, just like everything in the vid. but i do not get an increase in the commendations. If I do it without throwing the grenade, there is an increase. so it seems to be not working when dying. does anyone have the same problem?

1st. To simplify this for everyone, this is not credit boosting its nothing more than the OLD ASS target locater commendation booster, One may think its for grenades or something its just a way to do the target locator and just have it reload after each shot.

3. got the kills from the target thingy.

4. latched the rubber band to the controller and i keep dying and dying.

The checkpoint is going earlier than i can use the target locator like right 2when I step into that area. Dunno why. It was working fine an hour or 2 ago.

it seems like it would be rather hard to get the timing right for this though, like getting the checkpoint pretty much right after you use the gun. cool trick though, nice vid.
