I see all that land over there and the best they could do is make one runway. They should really start thinking about building a second, because, if you look on Google earth, you'll see all that land that can be used for a second and even third runway.

Wow thats expensive. I have cousins in Sydney and it is very expensive for them too. Just to fly to Canada is 2,000 for them. I know how you feel. Here from USA its also expensive to fly with Armavia. A ticket to Armenia cost at least $900-1100. With Armavia its at least $1500.

I'm guessing maybe towards the end of 2010 or beginning of 2011, Armavia's focusing on receiving it's order for the Sukhoi Superjet 100s which are expected to arrive soon :)!

Yerevan's airport looks impresive also inside. I had this sad opportunity to see it because polish TV was filming evacuation of EU citizens from Georgia. As always we had to transport anybody who was there by our vintage Tu-154 xD

I hope that conflict there is not going to influence Armenia.

How much does it cost to go to Armenia from your place?

Here in western-Europe it is around the 450 euro's ..(Around the 700 dollars). I really believe it is expensive from the U.S. :|

And Armavia does not even fly to the U.S.

But they are on the good way.. It will not last long and Armavia will fly to the United States :)

Our church was offering a pilgrimage and trip there plus we would stay in Yerevan at the Congress hotel but the whole trip is $2700 which sucks for me because im saving up for a car and there are too many things in the way =((.
