  • 0:57 ok that's one creepy laugh

  • there's only 4 people in the whole rink he didn't deke, and 3 of em are ushers!

  • I trade Jagr to the Penguins in ALL hockey video games and he plays better... love the salute too!

  • #2 was way better the #1....

  • Gotta love Bob Cole on the #1 goal :)

  • Lalime tried like 4 pokecheck and he deked them all, amazing

  • jagr is the best player ever in hockey

  • Jaromir Jagr and Mario Lemieux were the main reason I ever liked the Penguins... All that respect died when they picked up Crosby... Now I am a Capitals fan..

  • imagine if jagr was still on the caps....ovie+jagr=rip shit

  • @jessetalako6 Jagr, Lemieux and Ovechkin.. How about that trio.

  • He played with no heart for the Rangers?! Right. That's why the first season after the lockout, when the media had them pegged to finish dead last in the entire NHL Jarda carried them into the playoffs for the first time in years, finished 2nd in the NHL in scoring, and he was awarded the Lester B. Pearson as NHL MVP. That's a really poor player there, alright, I don't see any heart at all. If you're going to make a statement, at least try and sound like you know what you're talking about.

  • @XMedoraX Not to mention he was the captain of the Rangers and had better point totals than a bunch of his pen years, and instituted a tradition at madison square garden that every rangers captain will do forever by saluting the crowd at center ice after a home win. Uh huh. And I was at a game where pittsburgh actually booed him everytime he came on the ice. Bandwagon fans with no respect for the true greats that have been on the team. Crosby is the next Eric Lindros, just you watch. Concussions

  • @LtSykes I'm impressed - a man who knows his hockey! Jarda learned to keep his head up early because he played in 3 leagues with guys much older than him. Pens fans need to grow up. A number of doctors told the Pens that Jarda appears to be manic depressive. If he is - he's gone untreated. The fact that he's managed to have the career he's had, his success - is a miracle and a testament to his talent. He has a good heart. When he asked for that trade - he was doing what was best for the team.

  • 2:40 this is better than Ovechkin

  • I have his autograph straight from him on a 1992 Jersey :)

  • this is hockey god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Vlady14: MB because he is 38years old. He can't be the best now, he is too old, but still good!!! In this video his best goal is from the time he was 20!! It's 18 years ago! He can't be perfect forever :)

  • Ugh, I hate his stupid kisses and salutes. Great player, but ugh.

  • yeah, most people dont realize that the Caps and Pens rivalry has been going on long before Ovechkin and Crosby

  • He scored none of these goals with Washington or NYR...only the Penguins.

  • this top 10 was from before he joined the rangers and most likely before he was on washington especially because the most recent goal was in 2000 (#7)

  • All of them are great, Goal #1 is one of the best goals ever in the nhl (of all time, of all time)

  • For most new hockey fans, the Pittsburgh/Washington rivalry stems from Crosby and Ovechkin. For long time hockey fans, everyone knows THAT's just icing on the cake from numerous playoff matchups, the 4 OT game and the Jagr trade leading up to what we have now.

  • Comment removed

  • Im a rangers fan too and Jagr is #1 in all time nhl! he shouldnt of retired but i dont understand why people say he only plays for the money!cuz he was getting a bit old

  • He didnt retire. He currently plays in the Russian hockey league (KHL). He'll be back i'm sure.

  • Number 2 was better than number 1 tho

  • Jagr is my favorite player of all time. I'm a Rangers fan, but I wouldn't mind to see him come back and finish his career with the Pens. Heck, if the Pens had him now they would sweep in the cup.

  • jagr should end his career in pittsburgh, come back next year play for the olympics and end his career in the burg

  • @koncept420 it would be sweet to see jags back in a pens jersey one last time.

  • Jagr should go back 2 penguins

  • I still have jar of Jaromir Jagr peanut butter! Please Jagr come back to the Pens! I STILL LOVE YOU!

  • wow that must smell

  • I keep it in my basement's freezer so the smell don't bother me!

  • hahaha ok

  • jagr was the 2nd most talented scorer that played the game

  • Jagr is the best there is... plain and simple.

  • And to think he was drafted 5th overall and nolan was drafted first. Oh what could have been.

  • A shame he won`t play another ten years in the BIG league. To bad he chose to wind it down in the russian minors.

  • jagar is a good player...

    just with a bad atitude

  • it must be the beautiful hair, and it would be sweet if you would leave the rangers out of it, i think all of those goals were when he was with the pens, jagr is a great player, and a great leader.

  • NAILEDTOGOLD: is totally biased towards youtube highlights. jagr is not considered amongst the greatest leaders. he puts up points...at one time was very prolific doing so, but has the rep of a whiner. please posters...back this up and make him understand.

  • Jagr has helped the Rangers end a 7 year playoff drought & to 3 straight post-season appearances. He's been a pretty damn good captain & most around the team will agree. He also has not missed 1 regular season game since the lockout playing through various injuries.

Why are you allowed to compare something, but I cant? It really is pointless talking with you about this, because you've already decided in your mind what Jagr is and isnt. Try to keep an open mind.

  • you sound like a christian fundamentalist telling me that the earth is 6,000 years old. believe what you want...just don't suicide bomb my family in a bid to prove yourself right.

  • imagine if he was still in pittsburgh with crosby malkin and co. it would be downright scary

  • and hossa OMG that would be sick it was stupid to get rid of him in the first place

  • they didnt get rid of him, he left cuz the penguins were in the shitter.

  • yeah, half assed efforts by Jagr with the Rangers. You know, so half assed he broke the Rangers records for goals, and points by a player. were talking original 6 team, and he broke 2 monumental records in his first year....but yeah, hes lazy and only plays for money.

sheesh, i hate it when people make carte blanche comments about something they know nothing about.

if anything jagr is playing harder in the defensive zone than in his entire career. hes workince twice as hard as he used to.

  • his teammates talk of him phoning it in and bringing people down with being lazy. he is making 6 mill this year and put up 25 goals. keep in mind, back in the original 6 days they weren't playing 82 games to rack up points in and the rangers were abysmall

  • what teammates talk of jagr phoning it in. I doubt you can post any facts that support your ridiculous statement. my guess is that you havent watched Jagr play over the last few years.

  • mark rechhi for one. i watch the games on TSN...and the panel routinely talks about jagr taking nights off. my guess is that you only look at points and the occassional highlight reel goal. the guy's heart is in question. i just saw a show where the panel agreed he wasn't a first ballot hall of fame candidate. with so many people saying this...my guess is that you know little about the game, listen to very little analysis, and just look to youtube for proof of everything.

  • I am a huge hockey fan, like you, no doubt. Mark Recchi? Wasnt he the one traded out of Pittsburgh this year?

Have you watched Jagr over the last 3 years ? he put up 54 goals and 123 points in the year after the lockout. There is no question that Jagr, like any player(such as Iginla, Thornton, Lecavalier) has off nights. Jagr has been a damn good captain and has played in every game. You sound like you are relying on the media image of him.

  • woah...you cannot...CANNOT put jagr in the class of an iginla who puts his team on his back. I watched a show yesterday and the topic of free agents were coming up. Everyone on the panel talked about "what jagr do you get"...they said things like "If he chooses to play, you get 100-120 pts...if not, 70-80"..they described him as flakey. Seriously, Canadian commentators without fail question his integrity and heart. Look at Washington. Look at Ranger playoff failure. he is good for points sometim

  • playoff failure ? Where is Iginla ?? Jagr has been one of the better players in the 2008 playoffs.

After the lockout, Jagr was 1 vote away from being the Hart trophy winner. It seems more like you let the media shape your perception than actually watching him play. Are you Canadian ? You sure sound biased against one of the greatest European players ever.

  • how many times have they been in the playoffs with jagr. iginla puts his team on his back and almost upset the sharks. don't compare the flames and the rangers. the rangers are loaded with gomez, drury, shanahan, henrik the great...yet, jagr, wearing the C, is about to get dumped by the pens. you have to look past sweet dangles and plays. i am talking about the whole package. heart, grit, leadership, hitting. you watch highlight goals and think that is all that makes one great.

  • post a link. i'd be interested in seeing that Mark Recchi clip.

  • wow, excellent argument.

  • you suck you suck

  • @Vlady14 Mb because he is 38 years old now!! He can't be perfet forever! It's not possible to be the best 20yeas in a row.. The best goal from that video is 18 years old!!

  • well he used to be great, now he just is slow and doesnt deke like he used to, damn shame because he was a great player.

  • thats a ludicrous statement. Jagr adjusted his game to combat the clutch and grab NHL by bulking up and becoming a power forward. Not a great player anymore? hes scored 30 goals in 15 consecutive seasons prior to this year. The guy is a hockey legend.

  • "Jagr adjusted his game to combat the clutch and grab NHL" - The rules have changed, there is no more clutch and grab in NHL today, where is Jagr with the big plays ? I don't see goals like the ones in this video from him anymore beacuse he doesn't play like he used to.Clutch and grab was at it's highest in the mid and late 90s when Jagr played his best hockey for the Pens.

  • yeah, and its exactly why he bulked up and bulked up and bulked up. hes not a deker anymore, hes a power forward. power forwards dont make plays like that, they use their size and talent to create space for themselves and others. If you just watch hockey to see end to end spectacular plays, then Jagr is not the guy to watch anymore. Hes the guy who will use his size to create lanes for his linemen to drive to, and hell get them the puck.

  • I LOVE JAGR!!!!

  • Wow... Jagr clearly had the best dekes in NHL
