  • Wow, Dutch trains can move back and forth real fast. :)

  • Witnessed those same sights, well, not in Leeuwarden, but in Baarn & Soest instead in the '60s & '70s. Not much has changed other the trains were green then, & blue (snel trein), and there were less automobiles on the roads. And (as mentioned), yes, the warning bells were mechanical then. Ding ding ding ding...

  • 9 seconds between barrier down and train passing!! OMG!!

  • @robwedekind

    Not good?

  • It seems to me These trains are like england ones quite a lot.

  • Die lucht he, altijd dat negatieve over Nederland. Zie dit plaatje dan geweldig!

  • Schitterend filmpje!

  • blijf t geluid vn de machtige koploper geweldig vinden=)

  • Idd een mooi geluid!

  • It looks like the autobahn is in the background with the cars going seemingly fast

  • Cool level crossing

  • Yeah it's pretty cool, I prefer the old bells though. They replaced it with electronic bells...

  • i like the old ones better too ;)

  • Personally I prefer these. no dink-a-dink-a at random intervals.

  • I don't know how american mechanical bells sounded, but ours were good in their 'rhythm' (god I always forget how to spell that word)
