18/6 lighting till flower and then 12/12. thats flowering WAY to early. you should be able to yield at least a few ounces per plant. get a rubbermaid 18 gallon and cut holes in it and go to home depot and build your own hydro system for less then half and WAY better. then go get a light at a hydro shop for $100-150 and bam way better set up for less.

use a 250 watt mh/hps lamp instead of using cfls they suck just take that light hub off and start with metal halide then use high pressure sodium when you start the 12/12 unless its an auto flower which i dont particually like to grow cause they dont yield enough but they do come out hella chronic

u can have the under 24 hours of light 7 day a week....you are letting your plants stretch way to much ....drop the light lower or try adding some cfl bulbs for more light keep an eye on the k rating on the cfl that is important ......check out what kelvin rating is used in veg and flower ...i gurantee you will get way more fore your effort .....

They are about two feet tall. Too tall for the lights. They are still growing rapidly and are very green and healthy, but I have had to 'stake' them down to avoid the lights burning the leaves.

I've obviously done it the wrong way, but hey, live and learn!

the regular aerogarden doesnt work.. u would need to buy the deluxe. it includes extra lighting, stronger bulbs and such so no need to buy any accessories.

The aerogarden is a great starter for plants because it grows them very quickly and they're strong and healthy but the light isn't strong enough for good budding, plus they're going to get too tall unless you stunt them almost immediately (by the 4th node at the latest).

I would just grow them in the AG until they get too close to the light, then take the light hood off and use a High Pressure Sodium light for the 12/12 cycle. You can pick up a 150w which is more than enough for about 50 bucks.

why not just setup a small waterpump, or top driop hydro station? Aerogardens are wayy to expensive, for what you get. you could make your own top drip with rubbermaid containers, a small waterpump, hydro pots, hydro food, and ph adjuster.. Drill a few holes, transplant your seedlings into the pots, fire up your lights, and grow huge fucking plants.

hey man, you need to go to your local garden centre and pick up a growing lamp. try to find one thats similar to the one already on the aerogarden. unplug the lamp from the aerogarden and put it aside. hang the new lamp you bought over the plants on time set at 12hr on/ 12hrs off. this will start the budding process make sure no lights get s in while it is supposed to be off. make sure you leave the aerogarden running though. it will take a few weeks but you should start to see some buds.
