IMO, the reason why pot is illegal is that you can cheaply grow it yourself.
Now HOW are big corporations going to profit from that? Alcohol, on the other hand, in it's various forms, requires much more processing and special "apparatus".
I don't like pot myself, but I think it's criminal that it is still illegal.

Not that this guy isn't a drunk asshole or anything, but the majority of you are being pretty judgmental, which is something that was usually taken away by the smoking of weed. Don't get me wrong, I like my herb, but I also like to drink, and anyone can take too much of something, even those of you on your high horses on here. Also, I've met a lot more useless stoners than I have useless alcoholics. Just saying.

@cypresshilljoe1 though it is true that marijuana is a medicine, it doesnt seperate it from being tobacco. Though marijuana is a natural product, so is other forms of tobacco. There are unatural things that are put into both. Think about it though. There are also certain types of grubs that crawl around on some grown marijuana that crap on it and everything else. So there is still stuff that gets on it even though it has more of a natural appeal than the tobacco you get once you buy a cig.
