@elysianintricacy All of their songs are good. If you have to chose an album to start with I would suggest "The Pink Opaque" because it covers many of the sounds that they've used overall. If you're like me and you don't like discovering bands through compilation records, which is what the Pink Opaque is even though it's an official record (Cocteau Twins chose it as their introduction to a US audience), then I would suggest starting with "Treasure".

Even without words, its still verbal. 3. feeling is not meaning (4. the vast majority of music asks us to interpret it on a "nonverbal" level 5. I assume not all of said music takes u to a place of "otherness" hence 6. the feeling of otherness u feel when listening to CTs has nothing to do with the "nonverbal" asect of it) The melodies, the effects, the keys the songs play in.
