We always talk about Moe or Curly, but I think Larry was really underrated. He was the "glue guy" that kept everything together.

@somniumconspirator good call... somehow "Porcupine" was always my favorite and I never knew why. Maybe because Larry always had all the tools. Anything Moe needed, Larry had in his coat. A violin, a hacksaw, a ham sandwich..

@youngrebels75 they got that part from the Marx brothers, Harpo always had various items under his coat. Stooges are indeed great, but the Marx bros. are the greatest comedy team of all; and Groucho, the greatest comedic genius of all time.....woo woo woo.. :-)

@ITILII oh absolutely... there's no comparison. That's like comparing Burns and Allen to Sonny and Cher. While the latter was funny, the previous was classic. Stooges did mostly physical comedy and worked off their personalities but the Marx Bros had dances, songs, prop gags, sight gags (for example - the mirror scene), incredibly funny dialog (for example ... ANYTHING from Groucho).
