@vmtz2001 They always position the host's desk subtly higher than the guest's on these talk shows. Makes him or her seem more in control. Dave does it, Johnny did it, Jay, Conan ... everybody. Andy Kaufman did it not so subtly - he had his desk 30 feet higher than the guest's!
