Well... 1600 Series are still goin' around Trindade everyday & Cordoaria :P (Where 703 Passes by) still, the 1700 series (O405N2) Are still alive and rocking the streets of Porto/Gaia/Ermesinde/Valongo/G­ondomar/Matosinhos/Maia, still I believe the STCP Admin. should think about getting more of the great O530 Buses (They only have 3 so far, number: 2181, 2182 & 2183, So far I've seen this three buses operating in the 207 line) I know they look ALOT like the regular 2100 series BUT they have nothi

@MrOrangeXD Lots? Last time I checked, there are around 7 or 8 O405's still going. Now, I can of course be wrong about that number. What I can tell you is that the first series has been retired for very long, and the 1600 series is getting retired very quickly. Remember that STCP wants to g et rid of them as soon as possible.

@ediblechickenwing Yes, I think it does anyway. I also didn't add a shadow yet, so the bus looks like it's floating a bit :P . If you want to take a look at the real bus, just Google "Mercedes Camo U1001S". I'd post a link myself, but Youtube won't let me...

@Flagman20 I actually did right after I posted that comment, and you're right, actually it does look about right although it does look a bit deceiving in-game at the moment. I also thought the default MAN buses looked a bit high sometimes, I think it's just the game lol. Even the real pictures of this struck me as quite high for a regular service bus, but O405's with different bodywork in places like Germany look lower and smaller wheels. You must have a different spec in Portugal :)

@ediblechickenwing Well, Porto streets are very steep, with very rapid changes of gradients. So I guess STCP's (the bus operator) officials at the time didn't want to take any risks of buses not having enough ground clearence, so they just fitted huge tires to the bus. This was actually the last regular-floor bus they have bought. There are only 5 or 6 of them left in service, and they're all due for withdraw till the end of 2011, so this is a bit of an emotional project for me. :)

@RSSe7en2011 They were built in 1992 through 1994, I think. They can last another 10 or 15 years, but they're becoming obsolete compared to the rest of the fleet (these are the only remaining buses with regular-floor, they have no AC, no disabled acess, etc., which is something that all of the other buses owned by STCP have). Some are being sold to smaller, private bus operators, so they'll keep on going :) On another note, this exact bus, the 1605, was still in service when I started the...
