Dream Land 2 is much longer than the original. I don't really think any Kirby game is all that long.

omg Kirby's dream land was the first game that i ever bought back in the day, it is one of my favorites and i can complete it in about 20-25 min these days, and number 2 took everything great about number one (the whole game), and made it so much better, great vid! =D

It was released in 1992 in both territories.

It came out in Japan a few months earlier than in the US.

Man I played Kirby 2 so much that i got the score on all 9's. When you do that every single enemy you destroy or suck up gives you a 1-up.

Because there is probably never going to be an official US release.

Yes I mean the fan translation. I don't think nintendo has any plans yo do it themselves unless they decide to do it for virtual console. (which I doubt)

But I have the Japanese version already. I just haven't reviewed it because I don't think people will care until it's in English. :)

Kirby Adventure was my first. I never gave the early handheld ones much of a chance. It looks like Adventure is sort of a remake of Dream Land 1. I was noticing a lot of similar areas.

when I was nine, I got a game boy and the first kirby for christmas. remember being so proud of myself when i beat it two hours later. the soundtrack has been stuck in my head ever since. good vid Ben. brings back memories.
