  • There's always a difference between the stage version and the movie version. Check out the Tony awards version this song. It's a hoot.

  • In December I was in Annie at Pennsylvania Youth Theatre and it was so much fun. I LOVE YOU ANNIE

  • I'm going to play Bert in my school's production this April. Rehearsals can't get here fast enough!

  • I like this version more than any other version because the singer's voice has an authentic 30's sound.

  • I just finished a two month run as Duffy in my first proffesional show. God, I'm gonna miss that show... Anyway, even though this is the original, I still like our Bert Healy so much better:)

  • Best one by far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In a move that could only really have happened in the 1970s, this nostalgic view of depression-era America came to define the current times.

I grew up with the original cast also and love it. To me, this musical represents Broadway's last finest hour - when it was still a firmly New York phenomenon. Seems as if Jay-Z agrees. Viva original cast.

  • I'm Connie Boylan in a local production of "Annie" right now & needed this to practice the harmonies with: so, thanks! :) -Katie

  • sorry but I don't like this version I grew up with the 1999 version I was three at the time

  • @silverdrops97 so? no one is making you listen to this version. i don't care what you think about it.

  • oh well sury i though the 1982 version was the origanl annie and cast. iv never heard of a 1976 annie that was the origanl one.

  • what version of annie is this from?????????????? it sucks!!!!!!! when u want annie u want the 1982 or 1999 1

  • @123balletstar if you had bothered to read the title or description you would know that it's the orginal broadway cast. i do like the 1982 and 1999 versions but this is the one that started it all and it is my favorite. Without this your movie versions would never exist. I for one think that live theatre is where the talent is and I can't understand why anyone could think that this sucks.

  • @disney43075

    AMEN!

  • @123balletstar it is from the broadway cast!
