The Ak47 is and will be one off the most fool proof weapons ever created. It has been in major use since 1949. It has seen its share of improvements but the main design has stayed the same. It will be used forever, because it is cheap dependable and accurate. Plus the AK103 uses most of the tech from the AK47. Also a reason why it will remain out there is the Russian Govt. is still pumping them out and selling them to many different countries. Most not so friendly.
