Hi everybody I have been driving my SHO for the past seven months and I haven't seen any other SHO's on the road, I've seen a few of theSEL's but thats about it. I have tweaked mine a bit and am ecstatic with the results, It drive uninhibited now even with the governor unchanged. I haven't timed it to sixty but I'm sure its in four second territory. I also got the front brake pads upgraded at the dealer; whoa! no brake fade or extreme vibrations when they get hot; this upgrade was free.
You guys should check out the video on Ford's site where they race the Taurus against the Audi A6 which has a V8 and is over 20k more expensive, and the Taurus racks it in every time. Amazing car, and great style!

The particular model I want I think is over priced. I would much rather spend 45K on a Cadillac. I said I had a hard time spending $45K for a FULLY LOADED (=Taurus SHO + extras) Taurus.

@djbiggun1 In America, those people are considered trashy, despite the fact that Americans tend not to openly admit it. The idea of Class, (and to a large extent race) has pretty much disappeared from American society, though Eugenics is alive and well. In other nations, those people may be considered normal. As far as I can tell, they are low class.

This video proves one thing. Niggers, spicks, and women know nothing about cars. They said the old taurus is a car that breaks down all the time...bullshit. If you do see a broke down 1st-3rd Gen. Taurus it's because it was neglected or has hundreds of thousands of miles on it. These cars are reliable as gravity and get no love because their cheap. I've know 5 people who own a Taurus and not one of their cars had less than 200K on it before they got a new car. One guy had 550K on it stock.

Hi everybody I have been driving my SHO for the past seven months and I haven't seen any other SHO's on the road, I've seen a few of theSEL's but thats about it. I have tweaked mine a bit and am ecstatic with the results, It drive uninhibited now even with the governor unchanged. I haven't timed it to sixty but I'm sure its in four second territory. I also got the front brake pads upgraded at the dealer; whoa! no brake fade or extreme vibrations when they get hot; this upgrade was free.

You guys should check out the video on Ford's site where they race the Taurus against the Audi A6 which has a V8 and is over 20k more expensive, and the Taurus racks it in every time. Amazing car, and great style!

But to get close to that price you would have to get every single luxury option there is, like the moonroof, 20" chrome wheels, heating/cooling seats, navigation and assistance, leather, HID's etc etc... so please don't exagerate. The Taurus is very well priced at starts at 25k.

Add multi contour seats for 595, rapid spec 403b package for 2800, adapative cruise control for 1200 and navigation for 1800 and you are easily at 45,000. I didn't say it didn't start reasonable. The particular model I want I think is over priced. I would much rather spend 45K on a Cadillac. I said I had a hard time spending $45K for a FULLY LOADED (=Taurus SHO + extras) Taurus.

@N3sDro The even funnier thing is that what you said means nothing. The problems that Toyota is experiencing have absolutely nothing to do with where it's assembled. They're engineering problems and that engineering is done in Japan. It's extremely rare that any problem with a new vehicle is a result of poor workmanship during the assembly process. About 99.99 % of the time it's a flaw in the design of a part or parts. There's your free lesson in automobile manufacturing . ;)
